Thanks man, this was helpful. I don't like texting all that much, and prefer to be really direct. My impulse if I get her number would be to text her something along the lines of 'hey, it was fun dancing with you the other night, we should grab a drink sometime'. You think I should break that up into a few messages tho? Just feels weird to text small talk to a stranger but I'm open to it if it'll be more successful.
