Even bitlingr said he had trouble understanding. What you were saying. It really sounds like you crowbarred these statements into the discussion, then you misunderstood their reaction and now you are offended You said you were discussing gender roles and your point was about the lack of benefits that men receive from marriage. 2 different topics. And your 2nd point really didn't say anything. Just be honest with yourself and think back to what really happened.
