Should women even be allowed on this sub?Thank you for your response. I am also relatively new to reddit and writing this after a drink or two, so please excuse me my verbosity. I fear this might be a bit more of a meditation than the thoughtful response your post deserves. I confess, I am tempted to spend much of this unpacking your comment about dudes in Greece 2500 years ago - that is my field (well, more Roman poetry, but Greek philosophy has always had a special place in my heart). In many ways, those men were as interested in ide… | /r/MGTOW2 | 22/08/19 04:12 AM
Should women even be allowed on this sub?In many ways, I am in agreement with you about the dangers of identity politics. When I was first introduced to them, they were simply a tool by which to try to briefly ground your perspective, given the endlessly complicated nature of the human experience. This side of identity politics we have both made use of in our responses to this post. The beauty of this tool is that the complications it communicates must break down its authority. It should always lead to conversation, not stand on its ow… | /r/MGTOW2 | 21/08/19 09:37 PM
Should women even be allowed on this sub?u/30203forever I absolutely agree that I am not able to understand the men who compose this sub (though personally I believe the cause to be metaphysical rather than purely biological). However, I do not understand why you would discourage me from even trying - I think it is one of the greatest endeavors we can undertake as humans to try to understand those around us. A great endeavor and one doomed to fail. But, in my own opinion, that does not mean we should not try. | /r/MGTOW2 | 19/08/19 12:00 AM
Should women even be allowed on this sub?I mean not the world itself but rather the experience of the world. I am the queer, feminist, over-educated, idealistically liberal, happily in a relationship gal that I see treated with revulsion on r/MGTOW (which I know is not this sub at all). I delight in my own gender. While I am close to my brother and father, I can not quite fathom what it would be like to live in the world as a man. Nor truly can I fathom "taking the red pill". Read too much Jane Austin as a girl, I guess. I accept that … | /r/MGTOW2 | 18/08/19 11:45 PM
Should women even be allowed on this sub?I am a woman and (I understand the irony here) I understand the importance of trying to keep this a male only space. Obviously, that is difficult in a virtual and anonymous realm. I am only responding here as the post (though advocating for men only) accepts that a female voice might interject. I am (as are many others) a big proponent of intentional safe spaces so it would be hypocritical to advocate some while invading others. I confess I am on this sub out of curiosity of an experience of the… | /r/MGTOW2 | 18/08/19 11:28 PM
