Imo it is better to be single/unmarried/divorced than to be with a mentally unstable woman (or even a man) like that

Being jealous, insecure, trust issues etc etc. Pretty much everything you can think of. It took multiple relationships to get over myself. To the point I make women feel insecure (which works pretty well even though it's never my intention)

Your advice is spot on. I have had several terrible relationships. Initially it used to be my fault and then it stopped being my fault. Every time I fucked up I would tell myself to be a better person and treat women better until eventually it worked. Am still not the greatest guy in the world (obviously) but am far better than when I started out. To add to your "be a friend" advice: There is no perfect man/woman out there. We are all people with different bagage and all of us are assholes. You …

I once opened a girl at the gym and she asked me if I wanted to get my ass beaten. I laughed in her face. 5 minutes later she got the instructor and her husband to try and beat me up. First time I was in such a situation. I knew the instructor and even though the husband was all in my face, I handled the situation well. Also they were newly weds. It took a while to explain to the instructor that I had no ill intent. Some women have a hard on for men who who hit on them, it's just the way things …

Okay, thank you everyone for your suggestions but we did finally break up last night. I could go into details but don't really want to. I can't help but feel that relationships are not supposed to work out no matter how much you sort yourself out and stop being an asshole. Takes two people to work em and if one of those people has doubts and isn't happy then it wont. I guess since I posted this question here two months ago, I was having doubts too then. Anyway, at least I am single and can do wh…

I spoke with her and told her how I was feeling. We talked about it and even though she's not ready to sleep with me yet, it turns out the important thing for me was for her to know how I was feeling about it. I don't wanna just sleep with her and she does matter to me a lot, in ways nobody else mattered before. I would rather stay with her and stick it out, even if things don't work out in the end, than do something stupid and hate myself any more. This was a moment of weakness on my part and I…

Sorry I did not mention this in the post but I have only known her for 4 months(texts and calls) and met her a week ago, seen her thrice since.

I know you mean the best for me but some of this stuff isn't true. I live in country where sex before marriage is taboo. Am a virgin by choice. Have known her for over 4 months and met her a week ago, she thinks 3 dates is too soon to sleep together. Sorry I did not mention this before. She is damaged as in a guy hurt her along time ago and I am the only guy she has chosen to have care for her since. I understand the time constraint and all. But if this wasn't a little complicated I wouldn't be …

I guess you're definition of oneitis is much better. I have her pretty excited about sex, it's just that we live in a country where sex before marriage is taboo. She was hurt in the past and has trouble trusting men. I have known her for over 4 months but only met her a week ago. We are pretty crazy about each other but she thinks 3 dates is too soon for sex and I'll probably leave before she's ready. She wants to know if I am even going to stick around or not, and as I write this I realize it's…

This has been really insightful, I have been meaning to discuss this with her instead of being an asshole. I have known her only for a little over four months(4 months of txting and calls, I saw her a week ago for the first time and have seen her three times so far). She had a guy dump her a long time ago and well I am the only guy she has been serious with after. Breaking her heart is very tough, believe me, whether I cheat on her or dump her. Of course cheating isn't the right thing to do here…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
