Meh. Y'all need to chill out. Black Mirror is easily one of the best shows of the past decade. I imagine (at least I hope) this 'strong females' angle is just a result of lefty execs at Netflix playing it up for promo purposes. Do it! Cheap (maybe 'free' for you), you can always opt back in later (not 100%, but tech is advancing and if kids are so inportant just adopt).
