so if you go to someones house and hand them something and say "this is yours now" and leave, you have the right to come back any time because you paid someone for it? I think that once you transfer ownership of something to someone else, you cant just take it back. Not saying that I think she was a good person though.

By the logic of those comments, since she was obnoxious and obstructiv first, he should have attacked her. he wasnt even trying to rile her up. he tried to go first because she was still deciding, then she said no, so he just was sarcastic toward her.
