Can I get a leader per capita ratio here? This isn't a gender/sex issue, this one is a class issue. But it's part of all politics to fan the flames on all other issues instead of focusing on class issues. Personally, I think resolving the class issues would make the others fall into place, but I haven't theorized a good way to do that. I don't agree with any current ideas and it certainly can't keep going. But there's no way to just only let good people run things.

The government takes a huge cut of child support payments for themselves. We can take my case for example, my bio dad pays about 1000 in child support monthly, but my mom only ever sees about 400 of that, if she's lucky.

I don't think it's rooted in gynocentrism, but it does look like it. The government makes bank off of child support, so they're incentivised to just hand out child support.

The problem is that feminism is doing something about these issue. Actively pushing them out of public view.

Well, this is a blazing hot take, that I don't agree with and is absolutely real misogyny. However, you are entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to disagree with that. I think women should have rights equal to men. Not in the sense of how feminism has done it, but truly equal. The law should not have any prejudice on if you are a man or a woman, no matter the crime. If you want my personal opinion, we've got to reboot the whole court system, which is based mostly on previous rulings to make…

I agree that it isn't good and is just bait, but the mods of this sub are actually more just. I think it's better for someone to out themselves as a troll and let everyone see rather than them silently lurk or be forcibly silenced. Everyone has a right to free speech, barring certain circumstances.

I have done a little bit of research, since I am only 21 but considering this so I don't get into financial trouble. What are you thoughts on this? https://www.dadsagain.com/vasectomy-reversal/our-high-success-rate/ Looks to me to be passed in solid research and facts, so having a vasectomy is an option if you may want kids in the future. I personally don't know and my girlfriend isn't keen on it.

The only problem with what you're saying is that all those tasks still get done by people who don't stay at home. Stay at home parents absolutely have free time, they've just got to manage it. It is 100% possible for someone to be a SAHM and work on so many other skills. As an example, if you stay home from work for a week, how long will it take for you to run out of necessary activities for a house? A day? 3 days? The point is that they've got plenty of free time and saying otherwise is silly.

I know your account u/benderXX is basically just for flipping the narrative, but I personally don't think it's helpful. I agree that these things need to be discussed, but flipping the title and linking the post doesn't create discussion, it's just directing anger. Perhaps we should turn the title and make a post on that instead of cross posting, making it more about men rather than one versus the other.

Both. It isn't super important which part you flex, as long as it's near the groin so the blood flow gets diverted.

There is a little trick for losing an erection, if you flex your thigh muscles it will divert the blood flow and rapidly shrink the "captain" or whatever else you call it.

I was the same way as your friend and still am. I just can't seem to gain weight and I'm a 6'0 tall guy. I think it comes down to genetic predisposition, metabolism and athleticism. I'm naturally athletic, so sports have always been my thing and yet still, I've struggled to gain any weight, including muscle.

I'm actually speaking from both situations. I personally deal with depression and anxiety and have dealt with it using sheer force of will (not recommended) for most of my life. Started medication a little over a year ago. On the other side, we have my sister, who has several mental illnesses and had refused to treat any of them. She was diagnosed with BPD a good number of years ago and refuses to get treatment and now uses it like a crutch to get away with shit behavior. She recently got diagno…

What you were describing before, such as ignoring the signs and not seeing doctors, is part of refusing treatment. Sorry, I should've been a bit more clear in my first comment.
/r/MensRights12/07/21 12:47 PM

I agree with most of what you said, however, mental illness is absolutely something that can be controlled and handled. If someone deliberately decides to ignore the fact that they have a problem and continue to let it rampage, then they are the problem. I'm saying this as someone who has mental health issues and has family with mental health issues.

The problem isn't the case itself. I agree that both men here are terrible, however the problem is the court ruling that both men pay the full amount of child support. This means that an innocent man is paying for a child that is his nephew as if it were his own child. On the other hand, I suspect that the ruling of both men paying child support is because the government gets a payout from any child support, so doubling it gives them more money.

I wouldn't say that it would until something is put into place. But I am skeptical, which is why I said it's a step in the right direction instead of a solution to the problem.

While this may be a silly way to get it started, this is certainly a step in the right direction, as long as it remains for all accused parties and not just women.

Your analogy is wrong. You can't decide to not breathe, because your body forces you. Also do you think there has ever been a point in human history in which people have not had to work to survive? Even the cavemen had to work to live, because they would starve if they didn't go out and find food. You are foolish if you believe some person designed this "system" as you call it.

That isn't a straw man, you absolute inbred waste of air. You aren't going to get the point, so I'm just gonna drop it. I've had enough of slamming my head into a brick wall here. Also, "soyboy"? You need to look in a mirror bud. The projection is strong here.
/r/MensRights09/03/21 12:18 AM

I don't think you know what irony is. Because that's not how you use it. You also don't know what a strawman is. It's like you're just saying words you heard on the internet to try and sound smarter.
/r/MensRights08/03/21 11:48 PM

No, you didn't. In your attempt to show she made a strawman of you, you made her into a strawman. Ironic.

This is some real projection. I'm not white knighting, I'm saying you're a fucking idiot. If you were able to read with the stick of celery in your head, you'd understand that. But instead, you are so focused on you ridiculous opinion that you can do no wrong. If I wanted her attention, I would've responded to her. I responded to you because you're the biggest block head I've seen this week.

How is another worker going to provide proof of a worker not doing what they should? I think a boss should be doing exactly what was done, instead of going the route that would make its place on this sub justified and punishing him based only on an accusation. Edit - a word
/r/MensRights08/03/21 08:15 PM

Where in the post does it say that the boss believed the woman? All we get in the post is that the boss talked to the OP about the situation. This is the boss actually being a good boss and listening to both parties before saying or doing anything.
/r/MensRights08/03/21 08:09 PM
1

Not necessarily, because it isn't something specific to women. Being able and willing to throw co-workers under the bus isn't strictly a female quality, it is a quality of a shitty person. Just because the post is talking about a woman doesn't mean it needs to be here.
/r/MensRights08/03/21 08:02 PM
1

I'd say it would be flipping what they call mansplaining on its head, so it would be a woman talking condescendingly down to a male, simple because she's a woman. But in this case it seems that she just doesn't have a better answer because she doesn't know the procedure and was trying to save face in front of the boss by throwing her co-worker under the bus.
/r/MensRights08/03/21 07:59 PM
1

Well, I don't think it would fit the definition of womansplaining either. They're just a shitty trainer/worker.
/r/MensRights08/03/21 07:55 PM

I'd say that is just a quality for a shitty worker, not really men's rights related.

I'm curious, what relevance does this have to this sub? I read the entire post and some of the comments, but I'm not seeing how this relates to men's rights.

That isn't what I'm looking for, I'm not a white knight. Good lord. She didn't straw man your argument, she said that the video is fake but things like this can happen.
/r/MensRights08/03/21 07:21 PM

Buddy, she is providing an actual argument here, not just bashing on men. You aren't going to be any better than the feminist you have in your head if you decide to not engage opposing ideas.
/r/MensRights08/03/21 07:13 PM

We aren't doing any better than them if we try and copy their idea of equality. Making up new words to try and insult them is stooping to their level.
/r/MensRights08/03/21 06:31 PM

If we turn around and do exactly what they are doing, we become just as bad as them. Censoring people isn't going to stop them and it certainly doesn't help us get an outside perspective so that we can have reasonable thought out discussions.
/r/MensRights08/03/21 04:23 PM

I half agree with this. Unless it was discussed beforehand, the unconscious sex part, then it is 100% assault. I had an ex-gf who had been having sex with me in my sleep for weeks while I was working 80+ hours a week at 2 different jobs and it started to drastically effect my health and I certainly didn't consent or want that.

The top comment on the post isn't inherently disagreeing but imply that there is some kind of contact. To use the example they were using, if you step on someone's foot and don't realize, you need to get off, which pretty much requires them to tell you what you're doing. I agree that communicating that something makes you uncomfortable is important, especially if the other person doesn't know, which in interactions with strangers, some things may not be common knowledge of making you uncomfortab…

The wording is key here, there is a difference in forcing and initiating sex. Forcing, like hold someone down or blackmail, is rape. But initiating sex with no response is a different case. In a romantic relationship, when initiating sex, I believe that if there is not a strict no, then consent is implied because of the nature of the relationship. It isn't rape because in a romantic relationship either partner can initiate without asking for verbal consent and either partner can also say no. Hon…

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. You have been provided evidence that you've discarded because someone else claimed it to be true. So from that statement it means that you will accept 0 outside points of view, since that is something someone else says is true. Also, you're insinuating that you expect us to be evolutionary scientists, capable of providing first hand evidence over the internet. Your expectations are already ridiculous and impossible to meet, even if we we…

You haven't proven anything except you don't know how to open a book and read scientific theory. Also you're ignoring my point about gravity because it demolishes your argument. It's called a theory because is it technically impossible to prove anything 100%. This isn't a scientific rule, it is a rule of logic.
/r/MensRights25/02/21 03:36 PM

Are you going to answer my question? Because gravity is a theory. You seem to understand the basic rules of a debate, however you don't seem to understand much else. The voting system could be designed for either purpose, the one I stated and the one you stated. Either way, your first comment still would be downvoted. This isn't a sub to argue if evolution is real or fact or anything science related. It's a sub about men's rights. In the end, the voting system is used for whatever the end user d…

You aren't being silenced by people down voting you. You're being down voted because they disagree. That's That's entire purpose of the voting system. You upvote something if you agree and want it to be seen more, down vote if you disagree and want it to be seen less. It's quite simple really. Also, your point about theories makes me think you aren't involved in science at all. If you were, you wouldn't be saying what you are. As a quick question, do you think gravity exists?
/r/MensRights25/02/21 03:14 PM

In terms of my actions, it has already effected me to an extent. Making sure I get consent before any kind of action is a must and I don't do anything with people I don't already trust, to minimize possible allegations. As for the facts over feelings bit, I'll just keep doing what I have been and doing my best to use logic and reasoning when have discussions.
/r/MensRights24/02/21 04:32 PM
1

I can agree on the second part. Focusing on one side does create a biased opinion. As for the first part about the majority of people evaluating things reasonably, well I for one have pretty much lost all hope in the general populace using facts over feelings. And that isn't gender specific, I mean everyone.
/r/MensRights24/02/21 04:25 PM
3

Ah, you see that last line is the kicker. It isn't about legal sentences. None of what I was saying is about jail time or sentencing. It's about societal pressure. Whatever way court matters fall, people are still social pariahs because they were merely accused of rape. Men have their lives destroyed by false allegations and little to nothing is done to the acusser in these instances, but just the accusation, not the conviction, is enough to solidfy in people's minds that he did it. Also, when I…
/r/MensRights24/02/21 03:04 PM

How about we flip your argument on its head and see how ridiculous it sounds. Where are you getting the information that most victims never get justice? A study perhaps? How did the study get this information and PROVE it but the courts couldn't prove it? Innocent until proven guilty and the court ruled innocent.
/r/PussyPassDenied24/02/21 01:49 PM
3

It comes from the #metoo movement and the biggest flaw they have. The basis for the movement is to support victims and believe them all, regardless of how ridiculous it could be. This has made the sort of mind set that even if someone is proven to be innocent, they have had their lives ruined by the accusation alone. I don't need a professional study to draw a conclusion based on stories I've read and people I've talked to.
/r/MensRights24/02/21 01:39 PM
2

I wish I could give you a source, but anything that may even be considered credible would be crushed by societal pressure. The only evidence I can give is anecdotes from this sub and the #metoo movement.

I'm not throwing insults. I don't believe that rape and general violence are comparable, no matter the gender. These 2 subjects are in different classes and attempting to directly compare them constitutes calling it mental gymnastics. Yes, rape is a terrible crime and it shouldn't happen to anyone. There is no justification. However under very explicit circumstances, I think violence is ok, such as self defense. I don't believe in that idea being taken to the extreme, such as killing someone for…

I could actually agree with this to the extent of std transmissions. However, I don't agree with your title. I understand what you mean by it but they aren't in the same class. Actually, there is one comment I saw that was a response to a highly updated comment that seemed to have some good perspective, but it was down voted pretty harshly.
/r/MensRights21/01/21 03:22 PM

You are missing the entire point. The solution isn't to further support women, it's to support all victims. There isn't any single person I can think of who believe those actions are acceptable, male or female. Many are trying to tell you that this isn't a gendered issue. So you need to stop focusing on women and stop assuming men support these crimes, because we don't.

The only problem with this is it becomes a slippery slope with our freedoms. If the government now has the right to ban us from the those kinds of things under some circumstances, it opens the door to them doing it under other circumstances and could lead to them having the power to do it whenever.
