OK genius, 1- I said the child support "system works for the most part" as in there are flaws, but if a mother or a father has custody of a child 80% of the time, then yes, the other parent should have to contribute. I think the child support system works for the most part, but there is one flaw that really bothers me. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REGULATION on what the mother is using the money for. Is it really going to the betterment and needs of the child? I think they should be allowed to audit the mother and demand records and receipts showing that it was used for things for the children and not to pay a tab at the pub.
