Exactly. Except with ink there are even fewer alternatives, that whole market is locked up in this scam. Printer ink is one of the most expensive liquids on the planet. But it's the same sales strategy. At least with shaving there are much much better alternatives and cheaper over all too, unless you get sucked in and it starts to become a hobby. Then you're fucked lol.

Gillette razors are such a fucking scam anyway. Those nice handles are practically free, but the cartriges are ridiculously expensive. Head over to /r/wicked_edge and see how many people who actually care about a good shave use a razor that has more than one blade. The whole system is designed to keep you paying more over time; they give you a free handle to keep you buying the cartridges at an inflated price. Those things are shit, and they are way overpriced. Fuck Gillette for their products a…

It's not that they are bad people. They are religious, and not circumcising is just something that isnt done. Like for most people it isn't even a question. Even from my not so religious friends I've been teased for suggesting I might not want to do it. I'm just hoping for another girl so I dont have to choose lol.

I'm a jew and I'm pretty sure I'm against it. Not sure how this is gonna play out if I have a son at some point. But the backlash I'd experience for not circumcising would be absolutely massive.

People dont generally get paid for how physically hard the work is. You are hired to do a job for an employer. If your job requires more specialized skills/qualifications, training, or responsibility, you can expect higher pay because it's harder to find someone to do that job. Look at the amount of money paid to a construction worker vs a software developer. Construction jobs dont require as much training as software development, thus you cant expect the pay to be the same.

Out of pure interest, I like to understand what motivates a person to do such a thing.

Did anyone ever find out why she did this? Was it just for attention? Was she trying to frame someone?

I got banned from /r/offmychest for commenting in some sub like /r/imgoingtohellforthis or something similar. It wasn't even an off-color comment, it was something so benign I had to look through my comment history to figure out what it was. I believe it was an auto-ban; they must have a bot that autobans anyone who comments in a "hate subreddit." If you ask me, that was no loss whatsoever, /r/offmychest is absolute garbage.

This is why people pirate shit. Consequently, its also why netflix is able to air much more contoversial content. Netflix doesnt have to appease advertisers, but cable does. If episodes are getting cut from cable, its because of advertisers.

Im not defending netflix (I didnt even know about that stuff) but dont assume your cable TV isnt censored in the same way, if not much worse, than what you described netflix doing.

This feminist gender cis manbashing antirape stuff is really out of hand. Where does a person grow up where they start thinking like this?

[...]it's harder to adjust to being too cold as opposed to being too hot. As a man that's been miserable all summer, fuck you. After a fan as loud as a jet engine blasting me in the face, the only other thing I can do to adjust being too hot will get me a meeting with HR about "workplace dress code."

I think this is the most rational comment in this thread, and the only actual solution to the problems the article seems to outline as being so prevalent.

Honest question, but the article says the judge felt the father was more "willfully ignorant" than the mother. It seemed to me like he sentenced based on that, no?

Came here to say this. Pushing for one gender to succeed is exactly how we got into this situation. Why dont we stop focusing on one gender?

I think this is a very vocal minority. Any group of people is bound to have some idiots, and these feminists don't represent all women. Be careful with broad statements like that.

And embedded devices, like home automation equipment, cars like the Tesla Model S, Smart TVs. Like pretty much everything that's not a desktop or Windows Server.

The source said he had stopped mentoring female developers over fears that they might fabricate such charges. Great job there. Looks like these women are really helping the feminist movement and creating more opportunities for female devs. /s

Would you look at that... Apparently you're fucking right! I always thought "nuther" looked like a weird word and even spell check marks it wrong. At least according to the first search on google, its legit. TIL.

I'm of the opinion that if the government is going to get involved in the end of marriages Maybe the government should just stay out of peoples personal lives altogether... If we had effective social programs to help people find work (not support them indefinitely when they don't want to work) people wouldn't have a valid claim to the future earnings of an individual they're no longer married to.
