My take is that the blue pill is a knee jerk response to the red pill. Red pill to me is men that are angry and sad about their experiences that have created hurtful narratives to comfort themselves. (And even if you remove my opined “hurtful” that’s probably still 100% accurate). So the BPers are kinda taken aback by the lack of grace these guys display (since some of the shit is pretty crass) and so taunt them because they think it’s a way to combat it. It’s like the angry self sabotaging Trum…

I mean sure she could be, but we have no evidence to suggest that. I’ll put it this way. If someone posts in r/relationships and says I want to have sexy 2x/ week and my SO wants to have sex 2/ day, the response would be “have you spoken about it”. If the answer is yes, and there’s no possible resolution then the correct course of action is to break up for incompatibility. There’s this thread amongst MRAs that women have all the power, blah blah blah. But no one is forcing him to be in a relatio…

Why are you all having a bragging contest about how little the women you had sex with were into you. Never had that issues, dudes. LOL

I'm sorry that's how your pain manifests. There's a difference between owning your shit and weakness. Sorry, but there is. Nothing manlier than acknowledging an emotion, discussing it then fucking dealing with it. Cause it seems like the alternative - where you "have to" keep it pent up, just makes you angry and spiteful. So you're not happier. Just angry. Because you don't want to seem "weak"? Sorry, nice try buddy.

Can you share studies showing equally rates of domestic violence? Your two sources are neither academic nor scientific, and Thought Catalog is a biased publication. I don’t know what you do for work, but in the spaces I occupy, there are many more men in power than women. I’ll also say, I haven’t personally felt negatively affected by feminism. I’m a straight white dude, with only self-education and a high paying job. I feel pretty fortunate with the treatment I’ve gotten throughout my life.

Interested in hearing how you’ve been adversely affected. My understanding and practice of feminism isn’t men are bad, but rather women are equal. And I’d say on the flip side, if feminism were as problematic as I’m sure you’ll claim. Why is that any worse than patriarchy?

It’s called an incompatibility of sex drive and has nothing to do with women versus men. This woman just doesn’t have the same libido as you. End the relationship find someone whom does. I don’t understand how it’s an referendum on women when a specific woman acts a way towards a guy. That’s the same racist bullshit like “if not all -insert minority here - are drug dealers then what about the one I heard on the radio “ Anecdote != evidence

I thought women and liberals were the emotional snowflakes. You’re having an illogical response. It’s just words.

I’ve found that life’s truths are only as true one defines them to be true for themselves. If that’s the definition of life that makes you happy,’choose it, as hateful as it may be. All I’m saying really, is that there is no concerted effort by “women”, because that gender is just a group of individuals like any other.

Still hate them being near me tho. I dunno, you definitely use the word to describe being around them. I'm having a hard time jiving your description of the idea of being intimate with women as repulsive, which is something I've heard gay men describe. There's nothing wrong with it dude. It's just odd to hide behind abnormal social behavior.

Why do you see people as commodities? Most people aren’t defined by one specific trait. It’s the sum of their parts that makes them an attractive partner. I’ve found that people solely focused on physical appearance are those most unsatisfied with their romantic life. Because, as you stated, youthfulness is inherently fleeting. And I don’t know how much time you’ve spent chatting with people under 24, but they aren’t always the most worldly or enlightened. Often times, their youth is exhibited i…

You just said sex drive and intimacy lol. Also your post doesn’t fully jive with “hating talking to women”. Maybe you should consider why you seen them as so different from chatting to a man. Most 4 year olds aren’t super knowledgeable about gender, so it’s interesting you “hated” women at a young age.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/19 10:30 PM

Because generally the 40 year old has a lot more life experience and is a bit more hardened, so they have a huge advantage over the woman. And people who engage in predatory relationships are creepy.

Yeah, people are dynamic. Sometimes my gf wants to me be completely in charge (for little things like where we eat or what we do) and sometimes she wants to choose. Sometimes I can smack her ass in public as a turn on and sometimes she’d rather whisper in my ear why I’m a terrible bd, etc to turn me on. No one is static, and it’s a sad group of people who love their lives as if they are.

For some men, sheer physical attraction isn’t the only factor. I’m a relatively vain guy in that I only want to be seen with / date beautiful women, but if they don’t share my values, aren’t intelligent and intellectual, aren’t emotionally mature (something that is generally but not always correlated with age) then they leave me cold.

My experience isn’t that it’s kids who grew in foster care but rather guys from traditional yet sheltered childhoods. A lot of the times these guys were insecure as kids and didn’t have the support around them to over come it. I used to be pretty unhappy and had a harder time than some with women. But as I got to know and like myself better, I started to have an easier time just taking to women. And as I look back a lot of the times when i was “hitting “ on women, they responded but I was too ob…

Why would a mature 40 year of any gender want to spend time with a 20 year of any gender in a romantic fashion. 20 year olds are too immature for other 20 years. But yeah it’s also pretty creepy when 40 year olds for 20 year olds.

Most successful marriages are based on communication and mutual respect. But that requires truth and vulnerability from both parties. My experience - and let’s be clear that this post is based solely on yours and not some scientific study- is that a lot of my male friends’ / coworkers ‘ unhappiness comes from their inability to deal with their emotions, their unwillingness to meet their partners halfway , and then the inevitable confrontation of the deep emotional fissures this causes them. Is i…

That’s kind of a whiny comment, no? They shouldn’t have banned you for that, but do you think a women would find a chip on the shoulder an attractive quality? Even if you’re “playing devil’s advocate “, which you’re not, you’ve essentially implied you’re worthy not due to inherent attributes but due to something you cultivated. My experience is most women don’t perceive that as desirable, and the people that are successful with women tend to have their outward facing shit together. My .02

My thoughts are that neutrality is an attitude, not a belief system. So I can understand my own beliefs, know how they might influence me and still act neutral. In the same vein, I could separate my views from my analytical mind and see a lack of neutrality.
