Due to obesity and the prevalence of implants.

This is closer to right. Half prefer large or extra large, 30% prefer medium, 20% small (but small probably means B). Source: study I read that I don't have the link to handy but it was pretty depressing.

It's generally not about housework, it's about child care. There are a dozen good reasons having nothing to do with vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, or washing machines that weigh in favor of having one person be at home when there are children in the picture.

Thank you! I would be far better off had I not gotten married or had children than I am now that I've been out of the workforce for nearly a decade while my ex built his career and now makes more in a year than I'll ever earn in 3 even though I have the more prestigious degree. He may resent the support but I would never have stopped working had I believed divorce was possible and I deserve every cent of it. However I think this situation is extremely uncommon, as highly educated people are less…

Well you compared men and women in your post so I was just responding to that. Of course people don't have to get married, but if they live together and then break up there would also be a (less formal in most cases) separation of households in that instance, and if there are children there is a legal obligation to pay child support to the custodial parent (though the default is joint custody now so child support isn't always necessary). I'm not really sure what you're trying to argue here. If y…

Women end up worse off relative to how well off they would have been if they stayed in the marriage, particularly if they gave up or scaled back a career to care for children. Moreover, most women would not choose to give up careers for child rearing if they thought divorce was a significant possibility. I understand that for men who have to pay support, the loss of income rankles more and may feel like more of a loss, but both parties typically end up worse off when households are separated. Ho…

I wish I could upvote this a thousand times. So so true and the way men cheat sickens me. Like to the point I'll probably never be in another relationship because I'll never be able to trust anyone.

This this this. Personality and chemistry and intelligence are everything when it comes to my attraction to men. Looks figure in there in the sense that some men (I can't really quantify) would never be attractive to me under any circumstances, but beyond that it's really all about personality. This, I believe, is why OLD puts men at such a huge disadvantage - because if I am asked to go on a picture alone, even if paired with a detailed profile, I will undoubtedly rule out men who I might be at…

Aesthetically, I guess. Functionally they take getting used to (skin irritation etc).

Completely agree. Looks determine life chances and self esteem. It's not fair but that's the way it is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
