Body shaming (more like advocating for total short men death)This is true. This would simply be one of the very many issues she has. I totally understand people have preferences - but a very large chunk of women aren't simply talking about preferences. They act like little children in elementary school. | /r/MensRights | 30/10/23 08:00 PM
Body shaming (more like advocating for total short men death)When I point stuff like this to my sister - her response? "Not all women" and I am super quick to say "sure, but enough women" and let me tell you - she gets fired up when her own feminist words are used against her. She knows good and well I know how to use her own language against her. She gets lit up when I do that. It's amazing to watch. | /r/MensRights | 30/10/23 07:58 PM

Terminator Dark Fate Review: We All Owe Ghostbusters 2016 An Apology...This Is A DisgraceI mean, they aren't wrong though. It's shown in the movies that no matter how you alter the time-line -- the direction, for the most part, doesn't really change the future's result overall. At this point it's pretty dumb to keep re-making them. They'd be better as a comic, I think. | /r/MensRights | 28/10/19 06:28 PM
"A Gentleman should know how to make a Sandwitch, but a gentleman shouldn't have to make a sandwitch" said no women ever!Yes, actually. Keep in mine there are two types of generations. The old school and new school. Additionally there's a third but I'll get to that later. Old School: Your grandpa. The kind of "gentlemen" you're thinking of. New School: All is equal Third school: A bizarre mix of new and old where women, and only women, benefit. I have lots more opinions but they aren't political correct. | /r/MensRights | 26/08/19 08:03 PM
"A Gentleman should know how to make a Sandwitch, but a gentleman shouldn't have to make a sandwitch" said no women ever!No offense, but this is me and my wife. I handle the "man's work" and she handles the "women's work" --BUT-- that doesn't mean we can't handle each others shit. If I'm sick, she handles my stuff and if she's sick I'll handle hers. We also communicate what kind of work we don't mind versus what we don't like and negotiate. I'm a socialist at heart -- so I help everyone in every way I can. | 3 | Why is it okay for women to define what makes a man?My GF asked me why the Gillette ad made me so upset. I like this. She asks why it upset you. She doesn't (seemingly) mock you for being upset or put herself on a pedestal. It bothers you. She doesn't understand why. She wants to know more. You enlighten her. This is how being progressive is supposed to work. Let me use another example: "Merry Christmas" -> "Happy Holidays". | 1 | Now is the time to campaign for a ban on disposable razorsPersonally, I believe teaching men (and women, I suppose, since they shave their legs) how to shave should be taught in schools. Ultimately we should be given a double edged safety razor and a few blades. It's cheaper and better and, more importantly, it teaches people how to shave properly instead of relying on their parents teaching them or not teaching them. I'm more fond of this method instead of the government controlling what is and isn't sold. I do think we should somehow discourage using… | /r/MensRights | 17/01/19 10:43 PM

Let's make #boycottgillette trend across the Internet.$30-40 Merkur. $10-20 for 100+ razor blades. Wayyyy cheaper. Also very portable. A blade is a blade and a double edge is a double edge. Weight can help though but outside of that there isn't any function advantage of a more expensive one. But you can find a cheaper butterfly one that'll function well enough for $20 and just get a box of 100 blades for around $10. So even the cheaper options aren't too bad. | /r/MensRights | 15/01/19 01:42 AM
Let's make #boycottgillette trend across the Internet.I'll give you an upboat. I suppose when you're in that league of price range they must work rather well. Maybe one day I'll be able to afford one and give it a shot. Until then -- the old school method for my cheap ass. | /r/MensRights | 15/01/19 01:10 AM
Let's make #boycottgillette trend across the Internet. If you want a clean shave, double edge is the only way as far as I know. I don't think electric shavers can compete against a blade. If you don't need to be baby smooth then I suppose nothing is wrong if you don't go cheap. Never once nicked myself. I watched a few youtube videos and followed those instructions. Basically -- go at the angle they show you and don't push down on your face, let the blade do the cutting not the pressure. Hell I even shave my important bits, if you know what I mean, with this razor. I'm no longer on all three of those particular blood thinners but I'm … | /r/MensRights | 14/01/19 07:03 PM
Let's make #boycottgillette trend across the Internet. My dudes, go to an old school double edged safety razer. It'll save you A LOT of money in the long run and spend the money on the nice shaving cream like proraso shaving cream. It is, however, very sharp and can fuck you up if you don't respect it. | 6 | Rant: Why does even suggesting that maybe men are lacking some basic humans rights somehow imply you want to subjugate women. My response was "That's because as men we don't have a single legal right they can take away". You're not wrong. He starts to snicker that "Sure because as men we are so hard done by". He's mostly wrong in relation to reproduction but usually his response is usually in the context of history and how men are usually in control. | 2 | QUESTION: If a man is married and his wife becomes pregnant but he is certain that the child is not his. How should he proceed to make sure he doesn’t have to pay CS?Your friend needs to, in this order, delete all his social media and then talk to a lawyer. | 2 | I’m new, can someone please explain why feminists like to tear males down and say stuff like this? As a male who was raped at 11 by his sister I don’t get why only males can be rapists.Sure it alters you but there was a reported increase in depression, anxiety, and a slew of other things that were notable in the test group over the control group. | 5 | More women are paying alimony “Many women, no matter how educated, how professional, how modern they are, are surprised to learn that they might have to pay alimony,” said Marzano-Lesnevich (Welcome to equality).Imagine this. You're married for 30 years. You raised 3 kids and got them through college. Your SO decides they are done in the relationship. They have 30 years of work experience. You have almost none in that relationship. Surely we can agree that it's not fair for one person over the other. So what's a reasonable answer? I might argue that they have a 2 year alimony chance to get caught up in life. | /r/MensRights | 27/05/18 02:48 AM

Way to perpetrate a sexist stereotype Teen VogueThat's the thing. There's a group of "good guys" that's simply shy that some women lead on and take advantage of (the women who date assholes then complain about assholes). There's another group that's entitled and bitter but are caught in the weird shy/aggressive stage (the ones that harass women and can't stand being turned down). But, for some reason, the people who use the term good guy don't understand that "good" is a revocable status, as you noted. | /r/MensRights | 27/05/18 02:44 AM

As a male who was raped at 11 by his sister I don’t get why only males can be rapists.do not allow children to be exposed to porn Yeah this one I agree with, although not for the reasons stated above. What reasons do you have? From what I read there's evidence to support pornography has a negative impact on the brain. Luckily it's not as efficient of a tactic as it used to be because it's been overused. As a general rule -- act as if they didn't say that sentence at all. If similar comments had been made by a male presenter about females there would be debate in parliament!I've seen a few funny female comedians. The difference was they weren't imitating men or trying to mock men in the macho way. They were appealing to women because they weren't trying to be masculine and grabbing their junk, like a man might. Women are expected to look pretty -- thus makeup, uncomfortable shoes, etc. They can change that *easily* at any given moment. Men, on the other hand, are expected to be successful and unrelenting. You too can be influenced in ways that you aren't consciously aware of. So we start with some data. We ask how it was collected and such. Then we refine such methods. Are we asking the right questions? Is the question itself leading or can the question manipulate thought? How about the people we are collecting them from? That is how you "refine" data.
