Also expressly prohibited. On top of getting re-banned from the sub, the admins can catch wind of it and issue a site-wide ban. Yes, there are ways around it, but you have to go out of your way to avoid it.

Argh. That kind of stuff is why I drink. Like, computers have been around for long enough, and almost every single one of us has to use one in at least some capacity either at home or at work by now. How can that level of ignorance still be out there? I get that my perspective is different because I'm in IT, but still, it's not like (especially Windows) computers are some cutting-edge tool that only a few companies use.

But the more I thought about it, the more I came to believe in the value of a “meternity” leave — which is, to me, a sabbatical-like break that allows women and, to a lesser degree, men to shift their focus to the part of their lives that doesn’t revolve around their jobs. Holy crap, I haven't even begun being able to plan for having a house. I couldn't imagine losing something with so much value after working so hard for it. Four years is a long time to pay for a mistake like that, and as far as I understand, that's one of the lighter "sentences" for a divorce.

There was an excellent comic about characterizations of 4chan and tumblr trying to verbally assault each other, but they ended up falling in love. For the life of me, I can't freaking find it right now. It was so good.
