They were created to help women because women traditionally stayed home with the children. Based on the fact she is paying alimony I'm going to say I doubt she's doing that

That's really a shame. Especially the fear that you wouldnt be taken seriously or believed either. But keep your head high and if you need help with stuff through counseling or even talking about it dont be afraid to reach out there either

User went on to say that getting drunk does not change consent, and even after being explained to that law states consent prior does not guarantee consent during if there is an intoxication factor the response was "prior consent". User then said "K. Point is that men can't be raped. If you're raped by force you weren't a man to begin with and you should be ashamed, or you're just lying for attention"

What I am saying is not that she should have the solution but rather that she shouldnt be regarded so highly. Instead it should be someone who actually does have a good, reasonable, and economically feasible solution
/r/MensRights12/12/19 06:20 PM

Great on her for the message of the issue but what is the solution? All I have heard is her saying we need to stop climate change by stopping climate change, and of course "how dare you." She gets all this media attention for yelling, yet Ryan Slat who invented a system to help clean the ocean at 16 got barely half that. This is th problem on the side of the climate change activists where they put people on a pedestal who dont have doctoral degrees or who have done something, but rather someone …

A Nazi is a member of the Nationalsozialistishe Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, or National-Socialist German Workers' Party, in which the official acronym was NSDAP. Prior to the rise of the party it was a backwards farmer or peasant in the sense of a clumsy or awkward person. So no, a Nazi is not someone who commits genocide and people who misuse the word are the reason that the meaning is so degraded and no one believes it when there really is a person who is a Nazi

The scouts was a place for boys to have good male role models when they didnt have one at home. Now that has been soiled by these women who want this to be ruined. I did a survey in high school and even a very liberal and feminist girl said that women should have their spaces and men should have theirs in this case. While there should be activities taught similarly and maybe some joined activities I would have to say that there needs to be separation here

And in doing so saying it was not rape but rather a consensual act
/r/AntiFeminists03/12/19 04:27 AM
22

I will argue the first one. On one of the men's subs there was recently a story of a 12yo who was raped but forced to pay child support. I'd say that's pretty close to consensual rape
/r/AntiFeminists03/12/19 04:03 AM

There is also an inequality of pay in that field as well, especially the porn industry
/r/MensRights02/12/19 04:14 AM

I find it interesting that there are more women than men yet there are more men working than women. I'll bet this isn't taken into account when they calculate the "pay gap"

I will also say that the system can be used the other way also. There is a woman in my mom's office who was beat and abused but for some reason he now has visitation to the child he beat and abused (it is monitored). He also makes himself to be a victim and get anything he can from the woman because she planned and has money while he doesnt. I agree there are several cases where the father is cut out and shouldnt be, but there also some cases where the father is allowed in and shouldn't be

I go to an engineering college and I can tell you 100% the reason so few women go into the programs is because high schools dont push it enough for them or they would just rather take the easy route to gender studies STEM is a hard field and isn't for everyone, and some women just dont seem to want it. The issue at our school is not the acceptance (tho some want to believe it is) but the applications. If women dont want it they dont need it

Actually I see the opposite with the cost meaning a bad study. Rather I see it (most of the time so long as it is peer reviewed) meaning that time was taken to develop the experiment. But that is also where I have to agree that good information should definitely be free. If that was the case we could maybe see a decline in some of the misinformation that is spread today

If this is a public school in the United States then you are having your 1st Amendment right to the freedom of speech restricted. If it is a private school not as much can probably be done. Another thing to note is that this will likely go on your school record and some jobs later on could have issues. Definitely look into having this expunged from your record as it could affect you getting security clearances later in life for the military or getting into some other government/civil service j…

This is exactly the issue at my school (engineering school). There is about a 7:3 male:female ratio because there is a lack of applications rather than lack of acceptance. Not to mention this past year they had one of the largest dropouts from the engineering program in their history. Engineering is not at all easy and for what engineers will end up doing it shouldnt be

There are some women I would say are outstanding engineers, but there will be even men I wouldn't trust. I will honestly say that my college has some pretty tough standards for engineering and if the person doesnt want to be there in that tough track they will be weeded out. Chem, calc, physics and a writing course semesters 1 and 2 of college are not easy and take dedication. Again, some women may use the pussy card but most of the professors I know will probably hand it back with a smile and "…

Engineering is not an easy field at all. If you lower the bar you shouldnt change the standards. Academic readiness is the real issue with lowering the bar, and not a solution to the issue. The issue is that women are not encouraged to go into engineering fields. My college (an engineering school) is like 7:3 male:female. It isnt because that is what they accept so much as that is what the applications are. By lowering the standards all they would do is accept more women who are not ready to tak…

Honestly even though I was raised to always put the woman in the relationship first I still see some reasonable things that could be done. Things like washing the dishes a few times a week and taking turns or something. Just the one thing I will not let her do unless it is with me to spend time together is mow the lawn. That was always a nice time I got to spend with my dad when I was younger and I have come to like it as hobby more than a chore
