I guess that depends on ones opinion of a "healthy relationship". As to your "lone wolf" ideology I've been single for years, but have friends of over 25 years that I call my brothers. I've got nieces and nephews, we may not be blood but we're family. Just because one chooses not to partake in a relationship doesn't make them a "lone wolf".

I wanted to drive trucks when I was kid. A few years ago I got my CDL while working in Delivery for a window manufacturer and spent 4 months driving local for them and did 4 months doing Linehaul for another outfit. Loved the driving, hated the places I got sent. I do water Treatment and Distribution now but every so often I'll see a custom Pete or Freightliner and think about giving it another go hauling cars with a buddy of mine.

As someone who maintains water systems out in the desert in CA, water or Gatorade is appreciated if a customer offers it. I've had folks offer me a water while I'm out changing their meter or fixing a leak. But if it's some random person off the street, it feels kind of sketchy. Just my opinion though.

Kind of looks like a Streyr AUG. Quick Google search shows Australia uses them or previously used them as a combat rifle.

It's not worth it to offer help anymore. As a truck driver I always tried to stop to see if folks needed help or even just a water, when seeing a broken down vehicle in the middle of the desert, because I've been there waiting 2-3 hours on a wrecker or service truck. A few people were grateful, most just freaked out at me like I was some horror movie villain. Fuck it, I don't stop anymore.

I'm just trying to work out what the hell she's doing in that first pic? She sure as hell isnt fixing/cleaning anything squatted down next to the door like that. Must be one of those "look at me I like trucks too" attention getters.

Can't comment on the marriage situation but can comment as a CDL holder. I drove Line haul for a company out of SoCal. Mostly ran to Bay area, Phoenix, and Utah. Loved it other than being dispatched to recycle yards on backhaul and trouble finding parking to reset in CA. I'm kicking around buying my own truck and hauling cars to supplement my income as a water operator. Keep myself from being reliant on the 2 income household. There's money to be made driving, like any industry it has its downtu…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
