This nearly happened to me. I broke up with my ex when she threatened me and said "I could call the cops on you, you know?" then after I said I'm done, she said "I'd never actually do that and where I'm from and the family I come from don't do those things". It was honestly the scariest moment of my life. I'm upset at times because I did like her quite a lot, but for my life to ruined in a moment wasn't worth the risk.

I've had a few attempts in the past and didn't see any light at the end of the tunnel. When mgtow shows you that you're not broken for being a man and that you're not inherently "toxic" for being a man, it puts my mental health into perspective. The latter. We used to be good friends, still are, but I don't want to be in the stage of life they're in. I find myself isolated at times because my friend groups are either all about getting pussy or settling down and getting married. I'm at a stage in life where my friends are mainly just getting married or have that lingering post-college thirst for women. I've tried meeting people through jiu-jitsu, one of my main hobbies, but its main couples with kids or younger guys who only want pussy.

Man, I definitely feel this. Was in LTR for like 5 years till I was 21. 26 now and been single since. I deleted fb, twitter and have a private account on Instagram mainly for gym stuff. I had a huge issue with wanting to impress people. I think a lot of that has to do with social media being as terrible as it is. GYOW forces you to look in the mirror and really say "get your shit together". It's been a rough journey, but I'm glad I've gone my own way.
