I'm in the same position as you Potentially you could buy and rent out an entire house in the burbs to offset your rent Or suck it up and live in the burbs It definitely makes it harder to meet up with chicks to live away from downtown, but I think it's a better long term choice to get an investment property and live there for a couple years
