1	Feminist facepalm. Feminism has done some fantastic things within government, such as the violence against women act, the prohibition of banks from turning down loan applications based on sex alone. Men deserve to speak about and lobby in favor of just treatment but women deserve to do the same. 1	Feminist facepalm. Interesting. Just about all the women I know would identify as feminists and they're very decent, reasonable people who really just want equality. I think you're judging a generally positive movement by its loudest and most obnoxious advocates. Lots of people do the same to Men's Rights, fearing that it's male supremacy. 1	Feminist facepalm. So by that logic, why is this subreddit called "Mens Rights" and not "Equalist" or "Egalitarian?" We need to accept that feminism is legitimate just as feminism needs to accept the same regarding men's rights. I'm a Feminist just as I'm an advocate for Men's rights and human rights; I think each are inextricably linked. Sneering at any one of these ideas seems degrading to all of them. 3	Teacher,28 has sex with student,15, no jail time. I just can't get upset about this. There are some different standards for men and women and no amount of deductive reasoning is going to change that. (Maybe time will but we'll have to wait and see.). Honestly I don't think that that most people on this forum are upset about a 15 year old guy banging his teacher, I think that they're mostly upset that much of society doesn't acknowledge that men sometimes get the short end of a double standard.
