You can't even reply to a message on Match unless you are a paying member.

I've found proof in the phones of 3 different exes. With that said, just because you don't find proof doesn't mean he's not being unfaithful, some guys are really good at hiding their tracks. Like others have said, if you are really that suspicious it might be time to bounce anyway.

I'm also calling bullshit that his clothes wouldn't possibly fit her. She was "a little thicker" than he usually likes? I'm a tall and "thick" woman, I wear a size XL in ladies clothes and a medium in men's tops. He doesn't even have one loose gym shirt he could part with? Bull shit.

I have been thinking about dating women a lot lately, but I feel like most gay women wouldn't touch me with a 10 foot pole knowing I am bi and have only been in het relationships...

I just wanted to let you know I appreciated reading your story, because I've been in shockingly similar situations and it made me feel better to know I'm not alone. Leveling up is a process, you have to start somewhere. Celebrate each victory. Thanks for sharing!

I'm 42, goth, and heavily tattooed with a mohawk. I also have a professional job. I disagree that upping the couture of your style has anything to do with increasing the quality of men you attract. But I do agree that polishing yourself up is good FOR YOU. I have pretty much given up on finding an alternative HVM. I think there are so few of them out there it might as well be impossible. I'm on the fence right now about "settling" for a regular dude. Since finding FDS I'm just focusing on doing …

42, I will never get married. I had a close call with a LVM a couple years ago, we got engaged and he showed his true colors, thankfully before the wedding. I was never really interested in marriage to begin with, but now I am adamantly against it (for myself). My dream is to live next door to a HVM boyfriend. Maybe I'd consider a duplex with the right guy. 😂

There's a picture of me in my muscle car on my profile, I'm always amused by how many people seem incredulous that it's actually MY car. 😂

I don't know if this goes against FDS principles or not, but you could consider hiring a private investigator.

This was so well written, and so similar to some of my past. Change a few small details and it could have been about me. Thank you for sharing your story!

I'll answer this question too, I got in to it because I liked the aesthetic (I'm goth) and it seemed like all gothic people had to be in to it. I was attracted to how edgy it seemed. But my experience was the same, full of NVM abusers looking to take advantage of vulnerable women and feel "powerful" because they have no real power or esteem in their lives. I cringe hard when I think I've the things I've done and I cringe harder when I think about the mental gymnastics I went through to explain t…

Upon giving me no acknowledgement that I finished my last exam and last day of school, he says the next morning "Let's go shopping for my friends graduation present, he's having a party today". When I got upset: "Well you don't actually have your diploma yet, they won't send it out for a few more days"

That was my point. People are human, we haven't been dating that long (4 months) and he had a hectic week last week. I was waiting for him to recover by ordering some rushed flowers or at the very, very least buy me a digital gift card or something. I still wouldn't have been happy but I might have given him a pass in light of the circumstances. But he just chose to ride out on "only children get birthdays". Scrote.

In case anyone wants more details: He TEXTED (no phone call) 'Happy Birthday!!!!" sometime in the afternoon after seeing it on Facebook probably. I knew then that he forgot, but I waited a few hours to see what he would do. HE DID NOTHING. I confronted him and he admitted that he forgot and TEXTED (again no phone call!) that he was truly sorry and felt like a piece of shit. That was right before these texts in this screen shot. He is dumped and blocked. I thank FDS for opening my eyes to seeing …

So you are saying men are forced to message women they aren't interested in? I highly doubt that.

I love the whole "online dating overvalues women and undervalues men" notion. The reason why women get bombarded with messages is because men cast their nets much, much wider than women. In most cases as long as a woman has tits and is at 98.6 degrees is sufficient to approach. Every man I've ever talked to on Tinder says he swipes right on every woman no matter what. Does that give a woman a big head about her worth? Maybe in some cases, but if she's actually getting out and meeting guys irl sh…
