No i completely understand! I used to be afraid of no more new partners as well. But i got a little older and now i am tempted to settle down. I think it just takes time. Relationships are definitely a sacrifice, especially the best ones. You have to give up on some freedoms to maintain them, but the benefits you get may outweigh the benefits of being single. I guess it depends on what you value most.

Well, relationships stay together because of collaboration. If things get boring in the bedroom there are many ways to spice things up (new positions, fetishes etc). And people have many other reasons to stay in relationships. Also serial monogamy is a lot of pressure. Whether it's better is subjective but as someone with bpd and kind of forced to be serial i would much rather be in a long term relationship. Why does sex with one person scare you? Yes but "Chads" go out of their way to specifically get sex. They do not want relationships either. People don't necessarily, on the other hand, get into marriage because of sex only, yet they tend to have as much sex on average as a chad would.
