The only things around me that are within walking distance are like the gas station and some restaurants. It's an hour and thirty minute walk just to get to my work (I didn't have a car at the time), and it wasn't even that far, maybe 4 miles, but I live in a city and there's so many lights and cars that you're just waiting and waiting.
