So we agree that the gentleman did give consent. And only once he is no longer of sound mind (due to those drugs kicking in) would he be no longer able to consent.. So the time up until those drugs kick in he is a consenting adult....

because alimony is not the same as winning a judgment. the court ordered her to pay 8.4 million they DID NOT order her wages garnished, he would have to file a separate court case (with associated fee$, filing fees, lawyer retainer fees, everything costs money) to try and win another case to get them to order wage garnishment. during that separate court case she could then defend against wage garnishment based on any number of factors. did you even read the link I posted? courts don't do anythin…

the courts wont do any of that unless you pay them to. they hand down the sentence its your job to collect on it so if he wants a garnishment he has to pay court fees to get that set up and even then its usually a max of 25% of wages and that's only if they are above the poverty line. I mean just read through a quick overview and you can see how many obstacles there are to collecting through wage garnishment. it really sucks for this guy.

because they've decided that the benefits [1] [2] [3] out weigh the risks, and they most likely are in the mind set of wanting to give their child, what they perceive to be, the best possible benefits in life (whether you agree with that or not is the opinion part). and its their responsibility as the consenting parents to do what they think is best for the child (within the confines of the law of course)

Nope. The way we verify is a medical procedure is a valid practice is we determine what the procedure is doing and then we see if there is more overall harm than good being done during the procedure. Again, look this shit up before trying to redefine what things mean. Edit: also you do know it's illegal to do a procedure without consent right? So these are being done with consent.
