It's cachet, smart guy. I agree with you completely. I'm pretty confident, somewhat good looking, and not stupid. My favorite thing is a girl who will make fun of me, because I know she is confident herself. I also appreciate a sincere compliment on something I'm proud of - if I wear a nice suit to a date, if I give a particularly thoughtful gift, or if I make a smart observation. But calling me handsome for just being myself? I don't care, and if it's the first thing you say to me I might write…

Bumble, Tinder, etc are 95% aesthetic. OKC is aesthetic first, but you're not going to get anywhere unless you fill out your profile well, have a high-ish match %, AND write a decent message. Even more than in the past, OKC is where people go to find personalities they can match with. You need an entirely different kind of game to be successful there vs the rest, IMO.

Here are two thoughts on this : If this is a Tinder first date, then don't waste an actually fun activity on someone you barely know, just invite them for drinks on X day to get together (best practice seems to be 1-2 days later) If this is someone you've met in person and gelled with, then you should have a more interesting date lined up than just "drinks"

I understand why you say that, but I actually disagree. In OPs situation I think he has a long way to go, and needs to be able to have non-sexual relationships with women first. Honestly, being friendzoned a few times would probably improve his game overall long-term, vs where he is now. OP, don't get stuck on seduction tactics and and "women don't know how to hit on women" yet. There will be time for that. You need to learn how to make a woman feel safe, and how to make a connection before you …

You need to make some female friends. I understand this can be hard too, but if you're not comfortable with and women outside your family, this should be the first step.

If you lie to women like this you are exposing them to STDs, violating their consent, and generally acting like a piece of shit. OP, I don't know you well enough to know whether you're a piece of shit or not. But at least don't act like one. Treat women like people, for fuck's sake.

Man... you have this all wrong. I would love to laugh my ass off at you trying Jazz dance in a club, but here's some real advice: For the most part, any "style" you work to prefect will come off as try-hard. It really is about learning how to move with the music. Sure maybe there is a difference between dancing with a partner to hip hop vs reggaeton vs dancehall. But if you're looking for salsa and bachata-level precision, you're misunderstanding the point. Look on YouTube for how to dance in cl…

Re: list of qualities. In my experience, no woman cares about her "list" any more than you'd care about your "list". My list goes something like (in rough order): Aggressive/clever (making fun of me is the quickest way to my heart) Intelligent Beautiful face Sexually adventurous Nice body Successful and I regularly hook up with girls that hit two of three of these. I've even long-term dated girls that only hit two or three. Why is that? Because happiness is what's important, not some list. The l…

IMO the actual problem is that most women have had so many bad experiences, because of so many low quality guys on the apps. So, many are just using them as a ego boost without much intention of actually meeting up. You're right that the ones that do intend to meet up have an endless line of thirsty dudes. The first problem, BTW, has become true for me as well. Too many flakes, and meeting too many women I had nothing in common with (how could I have known from a two-line profile anyway?). I'm b…

NYC here. Yes, it's true that flake rates are much higher in the city, and yes the reason is the vastness of choice. What would a woman's situation have to be for her to have no downside to flaking? She would have to have an endless supply of men looking to meet her, and enough anonymity that she wouldn't risk getting a reputation as a flake. This is the reality for an attractive woman on Tinder in NYC. You need to understand that even if you're more attractive and eligible than 90% of single me…

Step 1: Reach deep into your pants, and locate your testicles. If you cannot locate organic or prosthetic testicles, then search deep within your heart, your brain, your gut. Locate them. Step 2: Open your mouth and coordinate the movement of your diaphragm, vocal cords, lips, and tongue to form the word Hi. If you're having trouble with the physical coordination, consider seeing a speech therapist. Step 3: Repeat until this becomes easy and natural.

Yeah. If you don't kiss her on the first date, IMO it's a pretty clear sign that you don't want a second. She'll be surprised if you ask, and not in a good way.

I randomly began speaking in an Irish accent as a joke one night while out with a friend in Malmö, Sweden. Pretty fake, but maybe believable if you'd never really heard one. Random gorgeous Swedish girl approached me, opened a conversation. I told her it was a fake accent (in the accent of course), and she refused to believe. Left soon after, but... Yes, even terrible fake accents can be very attractive.

Hmm, I don't agree with this, I think Freybeard is on the right track. You should prioritize yourself over everyone else. You decide who you hang out with, you decide who you respect. You don't exclude people for no reason, but you should surround yourself with high quality people that meet your standards. Have high standards for yourself, and the people who you allow in your life.

You're kind of way too late to the party with this response, since everyone is answering as if he'd never heard of you. If you still work with him, ignore him. Maintain minimum civility - he doesn't piss you off, but you have no interest in him as a person. If you see him outside of work, or with mutual friends, give him a wide berth. Move your group to another location. If anybody asks, you've known him for a while, he's untrustworthy, you don't get close to people who are untrustworthy. Simple…

The point is to create a scenario where she has to make a decision. In the example, she kills the guy in the suit - she doesn't actually want this person to die, she just prioritized the nerd and rocker.

Awesome point about grinding it out daily vs setting long term goals. So true - if your end goal is to enchant women, you make smaller goals along the way, but not daily. Who cares if you get blown out today? It literally has no negative effect in the grand scheme of your goals, which don't revolve around that girl and that day.

This is it. Every time I've accidentally complimented a genuinely attractive woman (before it's time of course), she will simply say "Thanks". Now that I'm more confident, this is generally the answer I give. Oh, you think I'm awesome? Thanks. Anyway...

Your analogy is terrible. Just because you are unconscious doesn't mean it's okay for someone to steal your wallet. This is dangerously close to "she was asking for it".

While I agree with your skepticism, the conversation topic isn't whether she did it or not, it's the amount of bail assigned. It's my understanding that the judge's subjective assessment of whether the defendant may be guilty should not weigh into bail assignment.

Good point - you are speaking realistically about resolving the situation, I'm speaking theoretically about his rights. It's important to keep in mind that if you DO want to press battery charges, you will need the cops to be involved relatively close to the actual event. So, they have to be involved beyond just "solving the problem".

I think the DLV would be looking and not approaching. OP says you're opening her by letting her know that you see her, if you don't make a move to approach then you are backing away from your set. I'm inclined to agree. This is particularly true if you look more than once.
