Are we talking about a Day 1 Female Friend you have known since childhood? An acquaintance you just met who gave you the "lets just be friends" treatment? Or somewhere in between?

The only thing men and women are entitled to is death and maybe taxes and depending on the skill of your accountant not even that.

it sounds like you feel women are entitled to friendships with men regardless of how the man feels rejected.

The vast majority of women are going to be uninterested in most men. Attractive Men have to be forged not born. It's not that we want fewer friends its just that the criteria for being a friend or a girlfriend is not 1:1 but its pretty close at least from a hetero male perspective.

So if men try to be friends with these women and then want to date them, then they are just friends and that would ruin the friendship and/or the men are just entitled if he doesnt just want to remain friends.

Honestly, I understand crying after the rejection but not constantly feeling it afterwards to the point the friendship has to end. This has to be willful ignorance or a form of psyops , there is no way you can have a hard time understanding that someone might not want to be friends after getting rejected by them. Most men who are romantically interested in a women don't want to be in her life if she is dating/fucking other men, I dont think that is unreasonable. I dont expect women to stay with …

Guys who think an entire gender wants to be treated like shit because these particular guys aren’t getting laid sounds pretty mentally ill. So I guess witnessing your female peers date/fuck the bullies and abusive guys is a mental illness, huh didnt know having 20/40 vision was on the DSM-5. That doesn’t mean they can’t be fake. They could be raised as gentlemen and think that they deserve rewards for being gentlemen. And honestly, I am very weary of guys who say they’re gentlemen because they’r…

Elliot Rodger was also a mentally ill murderer I am pretty sure societal standards that would disqualifiy someone as being nice or a gentleman for murdering people. I was very specific with my words I never said self proclaimed gentleman or nice guy™️, I said guys raised as gentleman implying that other people such as parents, guardians, siblings, teachers, peers, etc deemed to be nice/gentlemanly, but riddle me this and pls answer the question this time: How is it that when I mention someone ra…

Are you implying that guys raised to be nice or gentlemen are murderers like Elliot Rodger? EDIT: This is a serious question btw, and not me being a smartass.

I think the one of the biggest things that radicalized/persuaded men to join the manosphere in general (specifically red pill/black pill) OR at least become aware of it, is this idea that guys were RAISED with this mindset of being a gentlemen (and other arcahic gender norms) often tied with generosity and niceness. Only to be given a reality check that the gentlemen/niceness mentality is extremely counterproductive and unattractive for the most part. Guys who were raised to be gentleman were be…

Some of the BPs in this subreddit need to win a Guiness World Record for missing the point. Most guys who have been raised to be nice by their families often at the behest of female relatives who told these men that women are attracted to kindness in men . These guys arent saying: "iM A NicE GUy, wHERE dA HArem aND dA hOEz aT?" They are asking: "Why is it that I consistently fail in dating, yet guys that are abusive/racist/drug dealer/obsesivelly drug using/dysfunctional/assholes consistently mo…

As an East African American (parents are immigrants not descendants of the enslaved) its true the issue is not racial it is cultural, MOST African women I know would not be caught dead with a toxic guy (unless they were raised like African Americans) and from what I have heard the same applies to Caribbean women. I dont want to get to deep into this cause race topics is an understanable yet stupid taboo, so I want to reiterate this isnt a racial thing it is a cultural thing.

It doesnt work. It just gives half truths and guys who have absolutely no idea what they’re doing will blindly believe the half-truths. I think RP is a toxic thing but the 1 thing I think they got right was the idea that men had to be less agreeable, and make their priorities and needs come before the women to be successful kinda like an airplane oxygen mask. That was my main takeaway from RP and I think that will be far more effective then "just be yourself" OR Except it does work. It just does…

Why are the only women wanting you getting ran through? I am not sure you understood my comment, but the women who said that werent interested in me, I was "husband material". The guy they would like later or that some other women would want...one day. I’m going to be suspicious when the majority of women you know are ran through while the majority of women I know are virgins or just had one boyfriend. I never wrote that in any part of my comment. Please dont put words in my mouth. I simply said…

I have had women of various ages throghout my entire life tell me that I was the kind, nice, thoughtful, patient, emotionally available, sensitive, understanding, (and other beta shit) guy that would get the girl BUT only after she was done with the other guys (sometimes these women had the honesty to say assholes) as if it was a fucking compliment. That was the message I got throghout my late childhood to college. I was basically the Plan B, Beta Bucks, the Cleanup Man, Future Stepdad, etc. And…

it depends on the type of woman you're looking for. smart independent and self-respecting women don't care about how masculine man is. I know many strong, independent, intelligent women and they say similar things as you do but then I look at their boyfriends and husbands and there is an obvious discrepancy. The fact is that even though they talk the talk about not caring about how masculine a guy is they will absolutey never date a guy they deem as non-masculine and sometimes they let slip word…

I think it depends on the circumstances of the relationship and what the guy wants: If the friendship is actually deep like shes a true friend I think having a women on your team of friends is good and I would keep the friendship and just start trying to date/fuck other women. If the relationship was just short and she only wants to remain friends I would err on politely but firmly leaving for my own emotional wellbeing. EDIT : Assuming that in this friendship she is not using the man for valida…

Or to put it in another way if a women has to learn to find me sexy she doesn't find me sexy.

Not the OP but have been in a similar situation, being they guy she settles for is basically being a second class sexual being in her eyes, someone who doesn't arouse her sexual side like the other guys while I havent been in the same exact scenario I got a taste of it and I share that fear as well.

While I think most of the red pill is repugnant this post might be one of the best posts when it comes to dating and why men pick the manosphere.

This is why when I made my post on men rejecting the friend offer I used the word "demand" as I felt if you rejected the friend offer women will see the guy as a piece of shit who only wanted sex (and nothing else whatsoever)
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/18 10:14 PM
1

Being bummed out about losing a friend isn't the same as demanding they remain friends with you. You could just as easily say that men who ask me out are demanding dates. Wanting something is not the same as demanding it. You are right being upset about rejection is not a demand, until you start shaming and pressuring the other party. Which is what these paticular aforementioned women or "nice guystm" do, which is why I wrote demand in the OP.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/17 02:31 AM

The reason why I posted the topic is because I have heard and seen women shame guys who dont invest in those platonic relationships or choose to opt-out after rejection.

I was referring to situations were she still wants to be a part of your life, still flirts with you, and keep you investing time and energy even though she rejected the guy.

I think it's pleasant when men, being them "traditionally masculine" or not cry and/or feel comfortable with their own emotions. It's not like "masculine"men are allowed to do it but "unmasculine men" can't carry it off. Un-masculine guys can show their emotions there is no law saying they can't they should just be prepared for the contempt that women can give them. There's no such a thing as masculine man or unmasculine man, and one is not better or worse than the other. We have our own persona…

I try to avoid overtly flirtacious women with small attention spans they have the habit of leading guys on for an ego trip or because they don't understand that flirting with thirsty dudes may cause confusion. And if you ever are suspicious of a women taking advantage of you, I always ask "are we fucking/dating?" say it with confidence and regardless of the outcome you will know where u stand instead of being in a bullshit grey area.

Because they may break up with someone and then you can swoop in when they want a relationship most, ESPECIALLY after a bad break up?Disengaging doesn't give you the other person's love. Because I refuse to be a girls plan b, spare guy, or after thought. Disengaging is probably safest for both parties : she gets Chad or whoever she wants, and i get more time to search for someone who actually desires me.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/17 09:27 AM

Why would you want to be friends with a girl who rejected you? Because eventually that person will be dating and/or fucking someone else. The safest option is to disengage.

I am sorry you misunderstood me I meant individual girls trolled me not women in general. But I still think that most women treat alphas better than betas.

Everyone does get rejected, hell I dont even mind it because at least I can know where I stand. But even the apex guys but not everyone gets a long drawn out mixed signal clusterfuck to extract any benefits from the rejectee. I just want to avoid that scenario again edit : a sentence

blame all women for and hold a grudge against? Not a red piller or consider myself incel. But to your question there was a few times when girls would flirt with me, get close, and personal. Then tell me they have a boyfriend, "You will be a great guy...for some other girl", or told that women will like me after being with alphas/chads/tyrones (honestly pick your favorite version) I don't hold a grudge against women. I just don't want to be a plan b or beta bucks.

I have seen girls of all types "bimbos", nerds, artsy types, or whatever go for the macho types which is why i asked the question. Also while I agree that those type of indy guys can be successful, I don't even remotely look like those types of guys (that might be part of the problem)

"Ah, I fix her PC and she swallows my load. Neat!" When did I say I was expecting sex for fixing her computer? I thought she liked me like a girlfriend turned out she was was only feigning interest because her boyfriend wasnt giving her enough attention. I repeat the only reason I helped her was I thought she liked me not to get into her pants like you erroneously assumed.

Well let me put it this way. I found out about red, blue, purple pill, and PUA stuff because after a girl had used me for homework help and PC issues I treated her like a gf she treated me like an ATM/Customer Service. When I went looking for advice I asked around got accusations of entitlement . So after my long winded anecdote I ask : Who is more entitled the women who expects a man to act like and expend the energy of a bf and gain all of the benefits without giving back. Or the guy who thinks…
