Again, it comes down to people refusing to believe facts even when presented with concrete evidence. They have made up their minds and refuse to consider they may be wrong. These guys are akin to Anti-vaxxers, Trump supporters, and other conspiracy theory bullshit believers. I'm from the south and maybe I can shed light on this - the fault lies on both sides. Most people in the south are okay with Hindi, you only hear the tiny percentage of noisemakers on both sides.
