9	How much money did you lose in your divorce? About 15 K in legal fees, a $15,000 car and about 130 K to buy my house back from her which she put nothing into. Luckily, I also had a prenup. In my state there are unfavorable rules to marital assets. She also took my dog and gave it up for foster / adoption. There are a couple things I would have added to the prenup. The spouse has to change her last name, and if there is any adultery, cheating, etc. all bets are off and nothing goes to the cheater. I should have gone to court.	/r/Divorce_Men	09/01/24 12:42 AM
3	Thought I knew pain until I saw my dog in the possession of another person I understand and empathize. My Ex took my dog and then put her up for adoption / foster. I got to see my dog one more time before she went with her adopted owner. My ex said that she couldn’t handle her. Go figure she bought a house with one of the guys that she cheated on me with and they just adopted a dog not too long ago. That really burns. 1	What did you do with your ring Mine was a platinum band with 10 one point diamonds in it for a total of 1 carat. There is an engraving on the inside. It lays on top of my desk behind my monitors so I don’t see it. I would love to know what she did with hers ($13,000). We were married 10 years. 1	Serving papers My Ex got papers mailed (by an over zealous court office) to her a day before being served. She was shocked to say the least and asked me what they were. I told her they were the divorce filings because she cheated on me and after 10 yrs of marriage she did not want to be a caregiver for someone with a chronic illness (multiple Sclerosis).
