That has nothing to do with kids. It costs a fortune to raise even one kid, let alone "as many kids" as one can have. So anybody who isn't a super rich businessman has no choice but to be a wage slave in order to raise those kids.

I AM from an eastern country. India, to be specific. Women here are at the peak of narcissism and gold-digging. On top of that, we have extremely gynocentric laws using which a women can completely destroy a man's life with just a simple allegation, no evidence required. Getting married would be like signing your own death sentence, quite literally in some cases.

Taking care of a dog is way easier and way less expensive than taking care of a wife and kids. Also, a dog would give me plenty of happiness which is the opposite of what a wife would give me. I'm not worried about being a genetic dead end. Not really interested in bringing any kids into this clown world.

My mom and I live together. I'm from India and it's fairly common here for adults and their parents to live in the same house. Also, my dad passed away a decade ago and my mom doesn't like living alone. I can get a dog if I want to regardless of what my mom says. I don't need her permission. I'm just hesitating because nobody will be there to take care of the dog when I go travelling.
