Yeah I didn't realize how few... I suspect most of us just lurk instead of posting, so the perception is skewed.

It's not finding a man that's the hard part, it's finding a quality man that she'd actually want to date.

As someone who has had a little bit of work done, I think it is 100% worth it. I think the biggest thing would be to identify 1-2 things you want to change (surgery wise) and KNOW WHEN TO STOP. When I had my work done, I was very conscious of "not going full Heidi Montag". (Look her up if you don't know who she is. She had 10+ surgeries on the same day, and was unrecognizable afterwards). Interesting! The fact that you were happy your date did not try to kiss you today is very telling. I still think you should give him one more date, but then cut it off if your feelings aren't starting to develop.

If so, did he leave an air of mystery around parts of his life, or did he open up too much and leave you with nothing else to learn about? If you've covered values, lifestyle, kids, etc. all already on the first date, it sounds like that lack of mystery might be what's turning you off. That being said, definitely give him a second (and third) date if you keep feeling compatible. Sometimes it takes more than j…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
