Chicken and the egg my friend. Which came first, men ragging women about being too hard to have sex with, or women ragging men dreaming of sex dolls. Pretty much everything you argued is a double edged sword where women make fun of men about video games and sports and men make fun of women about equally harmless shit. Honestly men and women should just get along, but that doesn't seem possible on the internet. I don't fault someone for firing back at someone calling them out. You say that women …

Guys are the ones throwing around that sex dolls are the future. The op is a guy saying that women are scared of the potential of sex dolls. You're really pulling at strings saying that it's a reverse revenge strategy that women could give a shit about guys buying sex dolls. I don't see a lot of women saying don't buy this. I see women responding to a guy saying that a sex doll will replace them. Also, greatest hopes and dreams? Dream a little bigger than a sex doll. And again looking through th…

I never said the guys who use them are repulsive or undesirable. I just find it really hard to believe that the average woman even gives guys going at it with a sex doll a second thought. So why are guys clinging so hard to the concept that women are scared that a rubber sex doll is going to take their spot?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/18 01:50 PM

I don't think they are. Have you talked to many women that are speaking in hushed tones about the upcoming sex doll revolution? Online blogs aren't the same as reality.

Why are you guys so enamored by the idea that women are terrified that some guys want to give it to a pile of rubber that vaguely looks like a woman? It's genuinely confusing as fuck.

Seems like if you take a glance at the sporting world, particularly college football, there's some pretty healthy cover-up for people that are raping. Between Baylor and Penn state you have two towns that had police actively trying to suppress rape victims from coming forward, particularly disturbing in the case of a grown man using a charity to find young boys to rape. It's really not much of a stretch to believe that this kind of conduct is happening elsewhere.

Wouldn't it be a result of trying to market to women as well as men? Yea there's the whole Prince charming spiel and it's crazy successful but maybe, just maybe, some women would like to have a cinematic escape that shows them portrayed as more than a prize a dude gets for being badass. I wouldn't say nerdy betas write it, more smart people that like making money because maybe they can tap into the wants of half the population.

Even a rape accusation is a potentially ruinous event. I don't tend to prescribe to the rp belief that women lie about being raped constantly. However, I will say that if I was to engage in a one night stand I would make damn sure that she wanted it. I know that trpers say they go on physical tells, and asking could ruin the mood blah blah blah. But the fact is, it's someone you in all likelihood don't know very well and you should really be verbally asking if they want to have sex. Do women hol…

There are links between fear and arousal. The adrenaline, the rushing of blood, the increased rate of breathing. Really this isn't something you should try to defend or bring light to. It's a human bodies response to a stressful situation. Not a woman getting pumped that some dude is raping her.

Read as "I'm not talking about rape, but women seem to like being raped". Nice argument.

Wait seriously? You're justifying actual rape? Regardless of orgasm, if you're forcing yourself on a woman who doesn't want to fuck you, you're a piece of shit.

Top comment. Right. Sex ed is a terrible thing. Gotcha. Being aware of women having a different life experience. Bad. So bad that instead of using terms like 'overzealous' you used tyrannical and cuckolding. I didn't try to sway your opinion, I don't want to sway your opinion. But standing on your side and yelling that their perception is wrong because some website told me so doesn't makes sense. I'm with you, it can be over the top at times. I'm American. I get the ramifications, and if men being raped isn't a thing there that's awful, it truly is. I wasn't really being emotionally charged, my take on the whole thing is I'm sure 1-5 is a little high, and on the other side acting like it's not really common at all does disservice to those out did happen to. In one of your articles it railed against compulsory consent seminars for everyone. Why? To attend everyone has to take it and the author makes it sound uncomfortable for 18 year …

Sounds a little telling that you can see 'over 100' testimonials about some form of sexual assault and think that it's all bullshit. When like 3 or 4 women went forward and said Cosby raped him I gave him the benefit of the doubt, when it was in the 20's it's hard to defend. So you don't think the testimonials were true. Tell me what these people had to gain by telling a group that they got raped etc.? They regret something they did? So they told a crowd that they got raped? That makes sense? On…

I would communicate with her and say it makes me feel pretty uncomfortable how he acts around her. I understand being attracted to someone that isn't your significant other, but I trust that she wouldn't make a move to cheat on me. If something makes you feel weird or uneasy you should definitely tell them when it happens, not after the fact.

Are any of those three remotely attractive? In reality he probably failed because the GOP doesn't even know what they're looking for in a president. For gods sake the front runner is either some clown who likes telling people how much everyone loves him or ben Carson, a neurosurgeon. I liked Chris Christie but he seems to be doing nothing. That's not what I'm saying at all. You have friends, actively use your friends to help you find someone. If you don't have friends that's a whole other issue and you probably shouldn't try to date. I know that the idea of having female friends just makes trpers skin crawl but women do know other women and more people meet through mutual friends than any other way. That is a decent point about expanding your social circle though, well said.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/15 06:09 PM
2

Not really but if that's what you want to believe go for it dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/15 02:55 PM
10

Not really, there's a lot of women. Also this is why it's helpful to meet through mutual friends. Similar interests, you can date in groups which can make the first couple dates much easier, you know that you'll like each others friends. Find a way to be friends with women and it's honestly not that hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/15 05:05 AM
13

No it's not predatory or nefarious. I've found the best way to go about it is to meet through mutual friends, having female friends helps quite a bit. No it's not unreasonable to be upset at rejection, it is unreasonable to be upset at women in general because one that you found attractive did not reciprocate.

You can't guarantee that something shitty like that won't happen. I feel like it's a sensationalized topic though. According to the internet women are just going out and banging dudes then suing them left and right. In reality you should probably get to know the person you're about to fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/15 09:01 PM

Seems pretty fucked up. At least have the decency to break up/divorce if you're gonna go bang someone else. It also seems that both sides failed to keep a spark in their relationship. Missionary every day gets real boring real quick. Been in a steady relationship for 8 years, you have to find new kinks, new things to keep sex fresh and fun.

Lol Facebook hugbox? Also it's not bad reviews. You think Roger Ebert would have gotten fired for giving a bad review? Probably not. But if he watched a movie and in the review he said it made him want to murder the director and rape his kids he might have some problems. Some people are too sensitive, I agree. Some of the people that are too sensitive are the fucking mouth breathers that send death threats because of an opposing opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/15 10:27 PM
1

There's a pretty big difference between that and doxxing someone and sending death threats to their house. I don't agree with either of them on feminism and video games but people took the shit too far. I don't know what it is about the internet that makes guys think they're invincible, but grow the fuck up gentlemen. Opinions are like assholes, everyone's got them and they all stink.

Do you guys ever actually read the articles that you post? I feel like you glaze over, grab a single point from it and go 'see! Feminism bad!'. I don't really think that there should be a safe space of the internet, but I think most can acknowledge that women can get much shittier treatment than men on the internet. Wanting to change that falls more in line with basic human decency than feminism.

How is being able to hold a conversation a red pill trait? The guy you called autistic is one of tens of thousands of college dudes trying to be edgy and feeling themselves out. If you want to say following trp gives you an advantage that's cool, but this is a pretty weak example. I'm blue, I too can hold a conversation with someone with a vagina. Every week something about sex bots comes up. What is the obsession with fucking a piece of machinery? I don't think feminists care about guys making love to a piece of rubber. I don't think they want to ban it, I don't even think it's a blip on the radar.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/15 02:41 AM

I feel like rp mantra is derived from watching monkeys fuck at the zoo, so more developed? No. Your worldview is based on "me alpha, me man, you have vagina, you have inferior brain, me fuck you'. And you know some women probably do go for that, but as far as saying more developed world view? No. I don't even think you can go so far to say it is a world view, more a way to impress women.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/15 12:42 AM

To me every single societal issue can just be put under the same 'don't be an asshole to people' umbrella. It works in basically all scenarios. You wanna make fun of that far dude? Don't be an asshole. You wanna rape that chick? Don't be an asshole. You wanna shoot that black dude? Don't be an asshole.

Those both sound like the very definition of people being too sensitive actually. Seriously though, why does some chick acting tough bother anyone. Oh no she's playing with the boys doesn't she know any guy could beat her up. What?!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/15 08:05 PM

I'd say its probably because of exactly what you said. Literally every guy around them is bigger and stronger than them so they put up a defensive tough girl shell to protect themselves. Quit being so fucking sensitive.

Because there's a big difference between withholding sex and feeling entitled to sex. I really don't understand how anybody can say I married her, she is required to fuck me. That's not how it works, if she is withholding there is clearly some emotional issue. You wifed it, figure it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/15 06:07 PM
2

If someone is dumb enough to think that being married means that their wife is required to have sex with them whenever they want it, they're beyond help and in all likelihood not actually married.

His claim that 99% are scum. There are definitely shitty single moms. 99% is outrageous. Some game the system but he seems to want to take away the system that helps the not shitty ones. Be pissed at shitty single parents. Don't lump the good ones in with the bad ones. The entire thing was a generalization, and a pretty shitty one too. If you can sit there and tell me you agree with him that basically all single moms are shit heads, you're just as deluded as op.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/15 07:43 AM

I don't think that's a bullshit assertion at all. Being burned would cause anger, which would in turn cloud judgment a la lashing out towards women. In this case single mothers. The entire rant screamed I'm pissed. Either that or it screamed I'm 12 and I don't understand the real world.

Socially liberal, fiscally conservative. Also wouldn't really consider myself a feminist, just not super pessimistic about women like the guys on trp. As for the demographics, I think that it's a fairly diverse group. Obvious majority female, in that majority it seems like women from all walks of life. As for the hunting down, if it does happen it's a shame. Trp is just a bunch of normal guys, some seem to have some fairly severe trust issues, some like to blame women for the world issues (hypoc…

3% of their services are abortion. This has been verified by the CBO. 100% defunfing on a state level because of fundamentalists is a slap in the face.

There weren't any word games being played there. Unemployed or low income women are probably the group that should be having the great children and states are saying nah fuck you. Have that kid that's going to grow up to be nuisance to society.

Texas has begun defunfing planned parenthood, Florida is trying to defund planned parenthood on a state level. If you're a red state chances are your trying to defund places like planned parenthood on a state level. This isn't federal money going to abortions, but it's clinics shutting down because they are not receiving funding from their own state. It's a big middle finger to women to say hey we aren't going to fund this but you can go to a Christian alternative.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/15 08:28 PM

I feel like the bashing of feminism is just the crazy radical feminists. Do we have a need for a million woman march or something similar? Hell no. But with a massive upswing in conservative attitudes (defunfing places to get an abortion, limiting access to both control) there probably does need to be a group on the other side saying 'no, you guys can get Viagra under insurance, women should be able to get bc' or 'roe v wade was decades ago, why are we trying to get rid of it'. What are you talking about? I didn't say that at all. I said that going after someone that you have nothing in common with isn't going to go well. It's not really surprising it trp is a thing. I would assume it started as liking a woman/women that are really hot but they aren't really compatible with. I would assume the redefining of the word gamer is more a clever marketing move to make gamers more universally accepted as normal. Money talks. I don't see misogyny in changing the name. Women in gaming is definitely a double edged sword. I get where red pillers are coming from, it's not hard to see how someone could end up there. I'd say the overall lack of humanity in the sub. I understand why someone would turn to trp, hell if it works half as well as you say it does that's pretty good. But when you break down life and dating as a mathematical equation, you strip away things like emotion, you take away what makes humans more than animals. I know you said no fee-fees, but fee fees is what makes us human.

In your article that you posted it shows a few excerpts from texts that your own article called a minority group, and then it said women said it would be a hand in hand effort. It's pretty impartial, doesn't really take a hard stance against something like a matriarchy. I feel like you glazed over that and picked what suited you.

You post a wikipedia page and say I fall flat. Right. Hey go back to trp, I'm sure they'll love your bs fairy tales.

Saying it doesn't really mean anything. I could say that drinking salt water is actually really good for you again and again and again but saying it multiple times doesn't mean it's true. It might seem true if I had a group of people that kept agreeing with me though.

I appreciate it, I do consider myself lucky. Extremely attractive? No. And I have a pretty quiet and shy personality. Honestly we're probably pretty alike judging by what you wrote. I'm not gonna blow smoke up your ass and say hey there's someone waiting for you, but I've seen guys worse off find a girl. Best of luck to you as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/15 09:11 PM

That's part of being young, you find what suits you. If you really think only rich celebrities and guys that look like Adonis are getting laid you need to reexamine a few things.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/15 09:04 PM

Solid self esteem there. Can't imagine any reason why women would want to date someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/15 08:49 PM
3

Well I'm not 6'6 or supremely tall, not blonde, I don't have perfect teeth, overall actually pretty average looking, and I've been dating a girl who is way more attractive than me subjectively for 8 years. I'm fucking positive you know people like this as well unless you're 15 years old.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/15 08:48 PM
2

What women are you talking to that are this adamant about dating just tall men? Yea there's some women that prefer tall men, there's some men that prefer women with a little extra meat on their bones. There are right around 3.5 billion women in the world. If you think they're all fucking tall blonde men you're delusional.

Hmmm no, what I'm seeing here is the classic red pill fallacy of blowing some small inconsequential thing way out of proportion and calling it the end of days. Also calling out the attention whorish and shitty people is a bit like the pot calling the kettle black. What it probably is is you're actively seeking shitty people and voila there they are. If you were to broaden that view and take off the binders you would see that the VAST majority are not these emotionally damaged hostile people.

I mean loudest shouters if you're a 12 year old with a vagina who actually goes on tumblr. So far as I can tell the main pull of that website is for preteens to act out their strange fantasies about that guy who plays Sherlock Holmes.

I think you're mistaking chicks on tumblr for actual women. Being anonymous and behind a computer or phone screen makes people feel invincible and able to say whatever the hell they want. In reality I would say right around <95% of women are just normal women. Just like trpers, they can spout crazy on reddit and be normal in real life. I can't think of a single instance where I saw a news story and said to myself 'feminists have gone too damn far this time'. The only time their actions have both…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/15 01:31 AM

You got self confidence, confidence is attractive. It's not exactly a trp exclusive thing to believe in yourself more and care less about how others perceive you but big ups nonetheless.

I'm sorry, you don't have any evidence to support your opinion. You seem to have a fair amount of sass, and you enjoy telling people they're wrong because you think they're wrong. If it helps, I too think you have an IQ well below 70. I don't disagree, unmarried men can be amazing at their jobs. They can be CEOs of fortune 500 companies, they can be small business owners. On average however, being married leads to quicker promotions and a higher net income.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/15 07:31 PM

Can you go ahead and explain to me how NUMBERS that show married men make in excess of $15,000 more than single guys hold any bias at all, and how numbers are opinion. Wages are fact. The article means very little. It's the research that is important. Sorry champ, you lose this one.

You are perceived as a more trustworthy person if you have a wife/kids. If you'd like to move up in a company, they view you as a more mature adult if you are. A quick Google search will tell you there are studies that show you are a more attractive candidate for higher level positions. So purely from a fiscal standpoint, you actually stand to increase your net worth over time.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/15 08:14 PM

Not trying to invalidate them. I get that a large amount of the fellas on trp have been burned by a woman in the past. I think everyone has. I'm trying to say that perhaps you're a little misinformed. Your views are just that. Your views. Obviously we have different life experiences, your life isn't for me and my life isn't for you. I just think you guys should sack up and quit bitching.

Wishful thinking: When the desire for something to be true is used in place of/or as evidence for the truthfulness of the claim. Wishful thinking, more as a cognitive bias than a logical fallacy, can also cause one to evaluate evidence very differently based on the desired outcome.

I don't really care, they're delusional and I don't really give it second thought. But you can't spout out all kinds of crazy and then sit there and say "why do people think we don't like women?".
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/15 01:28 AM
5

Because like 90% of your posts are "women suck, look at why they suck". No one would have an issue with trp if you just did things like tell guys to work on their stuff esteem, get educated, work out, make yourself a better person. Everyone has an issue with statements like "women are predisposed to be hypergamous" or "women act like children". I mean for fucks sake seriously? Generalize much?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/15 01:07 AM

I think that for the most part, trp can give solid advice. Take care of yourself. Don't do something just to please another person do it for you, get educated, be more confident. But for fucks sake when trp starts ranting about how feminism is destroying the country and how basic rape education makes them feel like a rapist it makes them sound like whiny little bitches. Follow your own damn advice and just live your life. Same thing for extreme feminism. I know both are small parts of the total …

I would say that they don't really accept things as how they are. There have been a fair amount of threads saying feminism is worthless and shouldn't be a thing anymore. That would be a social issue that they are actively opposed to. Tbp seems to like complaining as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/15 11:34 PM

Man you guys are sjws too. You just have a different set of social justices you try to fight. I think both groups care about stupid little things entirely too much. They have fat acceptance bullshit and trp has sexual marketplace imbalance bullshit.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/15 01:57 AM

I feel like literally the core tenet of trp is sexual strategy, and if you're successful you have sex with various amounts of women. Then when it is brought up that women can be promiscuous as well, you act like it's breaking news and bad for everyone. For a sub that loves throwing around words like egalitarianism you guys sure do love that double standard.

Oh no a female character in a post apocalyptic world is good at fighting and driving! Outrageous! Who really cares. Don't like it? Don't watch it. ITT: zero effort to display empathy. Well done fellas. Is it really that hard to step out of your own shoes for a moment and realize that some shit you take for granted is a struggle to half the population because they were born without a penis. I'm not going to start shouting privilege because fuck that, I hate the entire concept and the argument, but it really isn't that hard to see that things like the glass ceiling and the sticky floor do exist and that sucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/15 09:10 PM

I'm a straight guy and I think feminism is a good thing. It's a group trying to weed out the crappy things we've done to women over the years. The fact that there needs to be federal legislation for fair pay and birth control is a pretty serious indictment on society. Don't really want to get into the politics of it all, always a black hole of zero minds being changed, but I think that it gets a bum wrap because of the super vocal minority who go to the extremes (blocking guys from seeing speech…

/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/15 06:58 AM

I don't think anyone wants to stop skepticism. It is a valuable tool. I can't tell if it's just a vocal minority of terpers that spew crazy or if it's trp as a group, but so much of what I see on here is past skepticism into some next level cynicism. Thank you for the response.
