I honestly don't say this to be cruel, but in my experience when a guy says a woman is "too nice" it rarely means their personality is too nice and they don't like nice women. Instead, it's either Only interested in sex and the "nice"(or "good") girl doesnt put out to them There's something else putting them off (looks, personality, behaviour) but they don't want to be rude or mean so they use a "compliment" (too nice, too good for me) to cover their change in interest. Do you have a platonic ma…

3rd wave is technically not the current wave i think, but it was like the 2000s wave? But to me thats when feminism went from simply asking for fairly reasonable equal rights (voting, equal pay etc) to ridiculous demands, villainising men, elevating the working woman etc. I think a lot of modern day guys agree with early feminism without it being a reflection of their personality or masculinity, but those who staunchly support modern day feminism are those who act like "nice guys" or engage in p…

In my experience the harder they preach third wave feminism in public, the more predatory towards women they are in private.

There is a middle ground between putting in no effort and glamming up. I'm a SAHM so it wouldn't be practical for me to spend the money or the time to completely doll up. I focus on skincare so i can get away with some tinted moisteriser, eyeliner and mascara. My hair is usually in a cute bun as mr 11 month old pulls it otherwise. I am curating my wardrobe to have flowy house dresses and comfortable knits, in my season colours that compliment me.

Personally, I kept my few close male friendships that I had prior to entering a relationship with my now husband (we've been together ten years) but i do not seek out or cultivate new male friendships beyond aquaintances/group friends. These friends are more like brothers, we went to school together and lived together. If we had been interested romantically, we had ample opportunity to date. My husband is comfortable with that.

Also, if I can give you a piece of unsolicited advice.. If you are nesting, prioritise sorting your storage and labelling it! Kitchen cupboards, wardrobes etc. My husband meant well but he put things in the most random places while helping and I'm still trying to put it all back 😂

I have one 11 month old baby. He's a relatively easy baby except had feeding problems at the start. I found that the first 2 months the house was in disarray. It was really focusing on the baby and even getting meals together was hard. Hubby helped out a lot and basically did all housework while I did all baby stuff. My stepmum was meant to come help but was cancelled due to covid. 2-4 months i started coming out of the newborn chaos. Was able to get most housework done myself while tag-teaming …

My husband was comfortable with marrying me because our finances at the time were more or less equal (including retirement savings) so divorce is lower-risk. We married only because we wanted children, and wanted to provide an aura of stability to them - same last name, social status of a married couple. I do not work so I take my role as wife and mother incredibly seriously and my husband only does what he enjoys (cooking a couple of times a week, gardening) and what gives him time to bond with…

Our house fell apart for about the first month. Not terribly, but just still had stuff lying around from the hospital and the like. After that first month, baby started having fairly regular naps and our house has never been cleaner. I do all cleaning but if baby has a couple of bad days or we have a couple of busy days and start to fall behind, I enlist husband to do one or 2 tasks to help us catch up.

I dont think this one is very fair. She hasnt demanded anything, or moaned about life being unfair, she's only put out facts out about herself, if you dont like it you can swipe on... Doesnt it usually include "must be 6', must have good job etc" or "time i was treated like a princess" or "sick of hookups now looking for a real man to have a relationship with" to be worthy of disparage?

Well said. I am much more relaxed about my appearance going to see my guy friends, than I am when I'm going to see the girls.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
