Lol. I follow MMA passionately. I'm not saying Ronda is the best fighter or the only relevant fighter, she's far from it. What I'm saying is that women's MMA is not big and Ronda was its bigger star (of MMA as a whole) until Conor McGregor, and she still didn't do the big numbers Men's MMA do without a big name. Nunez leading cards have some of the worst PPV numbers in the history of the UFC. She's the WMMA GOAT, but her numbers are lacking because WMMA is not big. That's it.

Nog really true about MMA. Other than Ronda Rousey, there's very few interested in WMMA. The event women headline have the lowest audiences, and at least the UFC tried to promote the shit out of them. Always in huge Comain events and stuff like that. Invicta is the biggest WMMA org. and they are relatively unknown.

Yeah, an example could be that the LGBT community wants to impose some boundaries in the usage of certain words and force the use of others. Although, I understand their purpose and side with their efforts to be accepted and respected, that's not how language works and will never work outside their circle.

Linguist here; I cannot corroborate this image's claims (since I specialized in Spanish) but it is correct in some aspects. Something to acknowledge is that language is not imposed, it evolves naturally, so, men could never impose the usage of a certain word to leverage patriarchy or some shit like that. Language rejects "artificial" change, that's why it is almost certain that words that get pushed by a specific agenda will be forgotten or misused.

The thing is why?
