My ex-wife did the exact same thing to me except she was telling her family and friends I was abusing her (false!) when her second affair(that I know of) began. I left her a year later when I discovered the second affair, but didn't find out she had been secretly stabbing me in the back with her family/friends until I after left her. I'm sorry this happened to you, my friend.

Ver similar path for me and similar number of years too. I loved my kids and didn't want to lose them or even see them any less, but eventually it was too much--she cheated again and I could not accept that.

Beyond the practical answers to your question, I just want to say that we all support and care about you. Take care of yourself and love yourself. The world is better with you in it my friend.

False allegations are a true plague on honorable men. It is called the Silver Bullet because there is virtually no good defense: http://www.targetedparent.com/blog/2016/2/22/the-silver-bullet

This is depressing and absolutely infuriating. Seems everyone on this planet has certain basic inalienable human rights...except married MEN who the legal system in our society has put into the status of financial slaves. Literally slaves.

It happened to me too. I have seen my daughter exactly 2 times in the past year. My heart is broken. False and heinous allegations of "abuse" are called the silver bullet because there is no defense. https://quillette.com/2019/04/16/divorce-and-the-silver-bullet/

Actually, if you look at his post history, I don't think he discriminates--he hates everyone and everything. Lol

There are truly good women out there. However, I must say that in everything I have seen throughout my life, in my experience honest faithful "till death do us part" females are a small minority. I have also changed my mind about marriage: I used to believe in it. I no longer do. That being said, I do believe in relationships and "partners". Just don't put your head in the government's marriage noose so they can hang you at will.

This!! My STBX handed the appraiser a half-dozen quotes from contractors to pretty much replace everything of value in the house: New HVAC system, new alarm system, replace all hardwood floors, new carpet, repaint the entire house inside and out. She let the landscaping go wild and it looked terrible. She did not disclose that the house had been completely remodeled 4 years prior and all of those things except the HVAC were practically brand new! It worked and the appraiser deducted $50k from th…
