Right and based on those modern social constructs 18 or 16 is the legal age.

the point you're trying to make is If you're following the conversation at all. The point is that "18-19 is" NOT "a bit too early though" and that on the 18th birthday, they were NOT "just a kid like 20mins ago"

It's simply that women tend to find initiative by men attractive. By saying "What would you do to me?" a woman is steering the man into taking control of the sexual narrative. Of course, while in the mood, women would prefer if the man does it without being asked to, but men often have to be steered into it. Obligatory, of course, not all women and men are as I have described above.

What about other sexual activities that aren't PIV?

Yup, ladies love men who can dance Honestly, if you're not into dancing that's fine. But if you're up for it, it can probably help you with your issue. You can even keep your straight face

Yeah the other guy is also right in that it is an act of submission in for you to take on the role of the teacher. Different cases. Just wasn't sure which you meant. The scenario I was talking about is stuff like sexual innuendo. "I had big feet. Y'know what they say about a guy with big feet" "No what?" - from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

In certain cases, women act dumb/innocent just so they don't have to address/acknowledge someone's inappropriate remark. In the same vein as "I'll pretend I just didn't hear that." or to preserve an innocent persona.

Let's be real here. It's normal for people to be offended when someone dunks on their interests. OP simply feels his preference is superior to a demographic in a certain regard. Are people just uncool and seeking validation when they reference betas and orbiters as lower value? (rhetorical) OP has a valid TRP question. People have differing views and thus reactions when it comes to ones social media or lack thereof. Like many people here say social media can be used to portray a positive image o…

When a girl asked me this I just told her FB was creepy af. People would stalk eachothers profiles for hours. Back in highschool, whenever girls (guys dont give a shit) would ask me about my weekend activities it always creeped me out that they knew what I did. I think it was like people tagging me and posting on my wall. I mean, I know the profile is open to see, but to have someone who isn't a close friend talk about what I did without them, it just feels very creepy. I couldn't shake the feel…

I agree reddit can be considered a social media, but it's not as profile-oriented. Although it's definitely trying hard to be nowadays.

Disagree. It's mostly old people that use Facebook nowadays. They like using it to stay connected with their old friends. Young people (in general) don't like using social media connected with their parents and move on to other social media where their parents aren't on.

Uncool? not at all. Having it perceived as an insult? Probably. It sounds like you took offense to it enough to call him uncool for it.

I read his post. He doesn't intend to briefly serve then go back to civilian life. He will be training to be an officer. He seeks it as a career path.

OPs intention to join isn't politically driven. There is no misconception going on about a possibility of fighting for agendas that he might disagree with. You're just pushing your personal ideologies onto him here. OP seeks it as a path to his career; it's not for money nor politics. You don't need the army to build up character. You don't need to be a STEM graduate to have a career either. No one here is saying these are the only options to get what he wants. And OP never suggested he seeks a …

Mothers will be mothers. You should join the army. Your mother is afraid that there is a chance you'll get yourself killed and there is nothing you can do about a mothers love for their child. I understand you want to ease her worry. I'm glad you've tried to talk to her about it. All you can do moving forward is let her know, in letters, that you're living a happy fulfilling life, that you're okay, and how much of a team leader you've been.

I think it's simply that there are more men than women on this sub and therefore the ratio of "reddit bros complaining" scales with it.

I know a lot of girls that say "It's just blood" It's not just blood, it's also unfertilized egg, dead tissues, and can smell rancid.

You're right, it's hard to understand why these people are acting like this; along with you we are missing a lot of context (or I hope you're not withholding context). I think in order to best approach this situation you should find out why everyone has been making rude remarks. If this stems from misunderstanding, I think it would help to clear it up. It seems like they made these remarks as if they think you knew what they were talking about. All I can do is speculate. Perhaps you took your ti…
