Ah yes, hello straw man.

This has nothing to do with feminism. Proper tag is "narcissism" or "stupidity."

That's not feminism. Don't get all stirred up just because some people are idiots.

If it was completely true, it wouldn't work as a joke.

This one's fucking dumb. There shouldn't be a draft system in place at all, nevermind adding more people into it ffs.

Nah, you can defend yourself until you're no longer cornered and they stop touching you. If you keep hitting after they're done, you're just as guilty if assault as they are. Call a lawyer ;)

You're so full of shit. What are you talking about, are you beating the shit out of people for just touching you or are you getting into "little tussles?" Every cunt's a tough guy on the internet, I get it. When you don't know anything about a topic it's still plenty easy to insult people or try to bully them. It's because you're such a big man, I get it. Your point though, that cops don't arrest people for fighting, says nothing about the legality of it. Try not to lecture people about argument…

I don't think you know what ignoring means little man

Sadly, that is how the law works. You are breaking the law, enforcement and the law aren't the same thing. Not that a "tough guy" like you cares. Not like our jails are full of guys who think they're tough or anything like that...

Sorry, yeah I don't live places that cops ignore.

Boy, you're in for a surprise if you think you're entitled to hit someone because you got hit once.

You're so focused on the story you tell yourself rather than what's in front of you. The dynamic would be identical in ethical terms if that was a guy the same size as that chick. Little dude starts shit, you have 2 options. 1: swing in him. Then you look like an asshole/bully. 2: Shrug him off and report what he did. You're the bigger man, you act like the bigger man. Clearly this guy has a lot of people at that school who don't think much of him. This isn't random, he got jumped because of a r…

What's your damage little boy? Why would he want to? Do you go around slapping people smaller than you? Do you fantasize about hitting people?

Again, he made the wrong choice. She pulled on his backpack, smacked him, however he could have easily grabbed her hands and gotten her off of him. Instead he lowered himself to her level and punched her. I'm not saying I don't understand his decision, but it was a mistake to react that way.

Didn't say he was fragile, said you are. Slugging her was the wrong choice. There are plenty more options under the umbrella of "do something." What could he have lost? Were they in a boxing match? With a ref and everything? How can making the right choice, the bigger man choice, be wimpy? That's your victimhood talking, not his. The only one who wanted to fight was her, and he let her drag him into it. That's the bad choice he made, and there were many better ones he could have made.

It's also pretty narrowly defined. The guy in the video would have a hard time arguing self defense when he escalated the level of force. When he was still trying to pull away he was golden, as soon as you walk toward the fight though, now you're both getting a battery charge. It really isn't true that you can hit back "anytime" you're being attacked.

Might notice my first comment says: report her. Tell authorities, let them sort it out. Your fist isn't justice.

You stated an opinion, don't confuse it for fact. I don't cry in any safe space, and I don't blame everything on men. Especially since I am one. I blame this guy for not being the bigger man, this time. I contest that if that was a short dude doing the same thing the bigger guy's actions are still shameful. When you're bigger, you have the option of turning the other cheek rather than stooping to the level of punching down at someone. It's the honorable thing to do, and would have avoided the an…

Nothing to do with gender. Even if the smaller person was a dude, there is no ethical way to punch someone smaller than you. You're going to look like the asshole either way. She's a piece of shit for hitting him in the first place, but that doesn't justify him sinking to her level.

Aww, live that philosophy and the prison system will be glad to have you. Edit: you are not entitled to hit back "anytime" you're hit. If you engage in mutual assault because "they started it" you get arrested for fighting (in the US). A fist fight is only legal with previous consent from both parties, in a controlled setting. For instance, fighting out in the open is often illegal due to disturbing thr peace laws etc. Unless you're backed into a corner, participating in a fight outside of strug…

As I said, fragility.

Maybe, since he's twice her weight, he could have just pushed her away instead of punching. Then he reports her, she gets in trouble. Your fragility seems to be blinding you to the fact that if you punch down you villainize yourself, regardless of sex.

That was definitely a push, not a punch. The lad has a bright future in jail ahead of him.

I'll clarify: no they're not. Young men want to be heroes because of pop culture heroism, not because any reasonable adult told them to go die.

Except, as written above, it's not. Industrial accidents at work, auto accidents, sports accidents. None of these are even remotely suicide related and they're the bulk of the causes of death in young men.

I'm not resorting to insults here. You're overplaying a nonexistant "epidemic" to enable self pity and victimhood.

Seeking high risk behaviors is more strongly associated with Male brain development and testosterone than it is to suicide. The vast majority of men do not seek high risk behaviors because they are suicidal. One of your links was about young men who are homeless specifically. We do not have evidence that shows that accidents in general are due to suicidal tendencies and it's irresponsible to say so just because you want to believe it.

Your premise is wrong. The leading cause of death in that age range is "unintentional injuries" also known as accidents. That's followed by suicide. https://www.cdc.gov/healthequity/lcod/men/2015/all-males/index.htm

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
