Hmm…something about this entire story feels “off”. I have a sinking feeling that this dude is married.

I am so sorry that your first sexual experience was traumatic. That’s truly awful and you deserve so much better than that. I am going to go out on a limb here and say that from your writing, I think these insecurities you have are above Reddit’s pay grade for advice giving. Please, please seek out some therapy. Your boyfriend cannot fix this. Getting married ABSOLUTELY will not fix this. Overcoming these insecurities starts within and only you have the ability to address them and heal from them…

This is going to sound harsh and I’m sorry, but you’re wasting your time. What incentive does he have to leave his wife? He’s sleeping with you, the younger girl, and has the entire comfort and financial stability of having a family. He has it all why would he give that up? You’re 25, take this time to work on yourself and date someone worth your time. Leave gramps to his wife and stop being a home wrecker.

I have a stepson, son, and am pregnant with another boy. So far they’re all monster sized pray for my grocery bill when they start sports 😩

My husband is 6’4” and he likes my height, but I wouldn’t say he fetishizes it. He just likes long legs lol.

So it’s two reactions, either I’m a conquest or they’re insecure and weirdly aggressive towards me.

That term is insane. Idk who is creating all the pressure on dating someone tall, I still feel like men care way more about height than women do. I have a unique with this, I am 6’ tall. Well actually just under, but I’m tired of men freaking out about this so I just round up. I prefer taller guys because I still want to be shorter than them wearing heels. If I were short, I wouldn’t have a height criteria. I think it’s odd when a 5’5” girl is hung up on a guy being 6’ or more.

I don’t think beauty is “ripped away” in the sense you describe. I think it changes. My mother just turned 60 and she is stunning. Men look at her all the time. You’d never guess she’s 60, but it’s not because she’s spent thousands to look that way. She’s not social media standard hot in the Kris Kardashian sense. It’s honestly more in the means that she conducts herself, how she dresses, and she chooses to live a full passionate life. I think a facelift and boob jobs are great! There’s plenty o…

I’m sorry if this is not super helpful as it’s regional, but Costco carries bath towels under the brand Charisma. They are super fluffy and soft, and wash well.

I don’t think that it’s “false advertising” per say, but it’s WAY more work than I’m willing to do. I feel like a lot of the current trends that I see on influencer pages are for the purpose of being photographed. Kim Kardashin-esque makeup looks photograph well, but I can assure you that she does NOT look like that in person. THAT much highlighter in natural daylight looks INSANE. Fillers, injections, Botox and the like can all be great tools if they are applied by a skilled professional. When …

That depends on what your definition of romantic is. If you’re into big grand gestures and gifts and that’s not how he expresses affection, you either have to live with that or move on.

I’m so sorry love. I’m going to stop you from spiraling real quick. Breathe. This is ONE night in a hopefully long and happy relationship, don’t be embarrassed! He’s not looking for you to be a stripper. If he wanted a stripper, he’d be in a strip club and not with you. Modesty is sexy because outwards you’re sweet and innocent, behind closed doors and only for him you can let out a wild side. Here’s what you do. Let go of your expectations of what you think he wants. What he wants is confidence…

This. Pills, creams, and serums are not going to change internal issues. You need a physical therapist that specializes in pelvic floor work.

It’s hard to not come off as nagging, I get that. I really liked the advice listed above, and had only one other suggestion. As far as the tools go, is there one “designated area” they can live? My husband and I have an agreement that his truck/office are no fly zones for my organizing (he calls it “hiding his things” LOL). What about a bigger toolbox or tool shed if it’s affordable? Compromise is important!

That’s very sweet of you to acknowledge this and support her. She sounds lovely and I wish you two the best! She’s still very young and growing into herself and her identity, but the fear of confrontation she feels is worrisome. Does she have a history of abuse? I think some counseling would do her wonders. While not as severe, I used to be similar. I grew up in an abusive environment and was always terrified to “rock the boat”. I would stress and worry and avoided making any decisions out of fe…

This might be a weird one, but keeping your cool in tough situations. My husband recently admired that even in a heated disagreement, I have never raised my voice at him. Out of anger I have definitely done and said said some things I regret, but I am proud that I don’t escalate conflicts.

“The older I get”?! Girl you are 23. Don’t fret. These are such fun years don’t spend them wishing you were anywhere else. Enjoy yourself life and keep working on you and it will all work out

There’s a HUGE difference between my “home alone and on my period sweats”, and the yoga pants I wear when he’s home 😆

I’m in the opposite boat, I have an amazingly easy first baby and I don’t want any more because I don’t want to mess up a good thing. Financially we will be better off with one, I can dedicate more time and resources to one, I’m 6 months PP and one and done is sounding so sweet. To be fair I do have a stepson as well and that’s a huge factor, but I think we need to learn to be okay with one and done.

I absolutely love my instant pot. I swear it’s the best way to cook chicken breasts. Juicy every time! I brown both sides in the instant pot with some oil (sauté or brown mode on the instant pot), then season them (I love Cajun seasoning for these), then cook for 8 mins with some chicken broth. They come out soooo good

Include some more details love. What kind of climate are you in? What kind of activities are you doing on your date? My best advice without knowing a whole lot here is the 3 accessory rule. I used to work in retail and we had to dress this way and I grew to love it. 3 simple accessories can pull most outfits together, especially in winter if you can wear a scarf!

I get lazy when I get overwhelmed because I don’t know where to start. Make sure you’re communicating with your partner and have emotional support!

You were raised in a situation that associated sex with shame. You’re not less than because of what happened. You need to let go of this you’re only punishing yourself.

I think it’s sweet that you want to build a relationship with your boyfriends niece! That age is hard, toddlers can be absolute chaos. Please don’t be hurt if she doesn’t take to you right away, their moods change by the minute! In general small children are less intimidated by you if you are down to their eye level or sitting when interacting with them. Don’t be afraid to get down on the floor and engage her in play. If you really want to hit a home run, find out what she’s interested in (favor…

I know it hurts now, but it will get better. Stop painting him in the light as the one that got away. He went after an inexperienced girl much younger than him on purpose. This is not a good guy, he took advantage of you. I think it’s awesome that you’re spending time working on things that you like! You’re healing. Give yourself some time and try again when you feel ready.

This is incredibly toxic. You married a man child and he has no incentive to change. You cater to his every need, bankroll this whole party, and he gets laid on the regular. Why would he do anything different the dude has it made. GTFO and move on.

There’s not one magic cure to please all men. Different people have different interests. Personally I believe that good sex comes from Good communication and chemistry. You don’t need to learn some insane new move in bed, or go outside of your own comfort zone. You mentioned a few things he likes, I would start by elaborating on those conversations. He likes dirty talk? Maybe you can try texting him a sexy message during the day telling him exactly what you want to do to him later that night. Pe…
