lol, that's okay. it was very personal. all this stuff does is stress me out. my point is I don't think I can find happiness in this society. maybe, I'll just have to do my own thing. this life makes me miserable. hope you have a nice life, though.

I agree with pretty much every point you've made. But, some of the things you mentioned are going right over my head bc I am done, stressed out, likely depressed. I'm tired. Idk how people make it in modern society. Half of the shit we care about was made up by some guys hella long ago with 0 scientific or empathetic basis, and we're seeing the fallout. Why in the fuck was I forced to care about equality when it should've been a given? Why couldn't the founding fathers and everyone the hell else…

Okay. I don't quite understand what you're trying to say. That I am pretending to care about men? You can think that; I don't control your mind. I'm not here to gain trust lol. I can tell you one thing, though, me and the other women that have come on here saying that probably only have one main thing in common: chromosome xx. my intentions don't equal theirs.

Thanks for this.

Okay, I have gone and researched the pay gap, and I do see what you are saying. Thanks for saying as much. There is a difference between unadjusted pay gap and adjusted pay gap, the one I used was the former, (though I thought it was the latter). It seems there is a general consensus that there is a two cent gap between men and women, in men's favor. A very small difference, but one that can add up over the years, apparently up to 80,000 dollars, according to a study done in 2022 by the AAUW. Pe…

But, also, I really want to know where these statements about men being sexist for choosing a male-dominated field were even seen. I've seen a handful of accounts where the user was a radical feminist. But, this particular take I have yet to see. I always have this worry that people see the minority as the majority, but I also don't like to bring that point up either because I don't want to overestimate human intelligence or excuse bad actions. If a feminist did actually say this they were wrong…

I get it. I mean, I could even see that being true for some guys. I just wouldn't jump to that conclusion when first hearing about a man going into a male-dominated field. There's more to a career than just the gender demographic of the workforce, and there is a decent amount of male-dominated fields that have zero in common other than that. I don't even get how someone could think as much. I'd understand the argument more if it was made even the other way around, because I always thought that g…

please give me some sources for the debunked wage gap, because every one I have says the opposite. idk man. I'll be honest. this sounds like the same reductionist ideology from the feminists. it's an easy defense to say, "radical feminists control certain media, so certain sources can't be trusted." so, then what am I supposed to trust? while, I respect your input and experience, anecdotal evidence is just that. we're on reddit for crying out loud. you aren't an entirely trustworthy source. and,…

I would almost certainly not say a 'large' part. Actually, most of the discrimination I've heard women speak about related to sexual comments being made, the wage gap (obviously accounting for experience, work ethic, and so on), men being hired based upon potential while they're hired based upon current achievements, and being treated as if they were incompetent. Also, to call women privileged is a jump too, specifically in this context. Maybe in the example where women were given higher scores …

I don't think PEOPLE are by default good. My morality isn't universal; it's not supposed to be. I'm not trying to be edgy either; I genuinely believe most people are not 'good'. My good isn't necessarily your good. If you think most people are good, great. I don't agree. I don't even think I am a good person, myself. I've hurt many and hurt myself as well. I singled out men in the post because it was suitable for this discussion on a MEN'S forum. But, I said the same about why I support equal ri…

Okay, this is the context I was missing. Thank you. Sometimes, I forget that people have stupid opinions. I don't know how someone can call a man sexist for not choosing to go into a female-dominated field or a more 50/50 one. Obviously, if a man were to have that reasoning, that the job is 'lesser', then yeah, sexist. But, I wouldn't even assume a man thought that, just because he went into a male-dominated job, to begin with. Maybe, the guy just likes math. And, I don't see anything particular…

I just want to express my thoughts after reading this, in no particular fashion. I would also like to mention that, while I appreciate this information and will put it to good use in conversations with some feminists in the future, the lack of dates (although, there were some), lack of information about location (because laws differ from state-to-state), and the possibility of cherrypicked information, means I do have to scrutinize some. I do this with ALL information I'm presented with, as ever…

And then those boys get blamed for being sexist by gravitating to fields where they find less sexism. I have a couple questions about this. There is a big problem with subjective grading. I am not denying that. It's fucked. But, I feel like this particular statement, and correct me if I am wrong, is oversimplified so much that it could appear to be false. I understand what you're saying, I think, once again I am learning, but are boys really called sexist just for gravitating to male-dominated…

I'm sorry about that. The broad generalizations do damage. I always try to acknowledge the societal structure around me, while still leaving room for people to be individuals. You shouldn't be treated as a representative of all men. It's illogical and nonsensical.

ik this is old, and idk if I'm welcome here as a woman ( I don't want to disrupt the space) but you're validated in how you feel. I noticed the same thing with the Greta Thunberg tweet and was disheartened and disgusted by how many people thought that was a great diss or whatever. It was gross. Please understand that I get it as much as I can, and I even wrote a whole essay to send to my friends abt why I hate comments like that. Not only is it body shaming (I HATE little penis 'insults') but it…
