In the year 2014, the numbers were different. In the year 2014 15.5% of people murdered by their spouses were men, not 19%. Unless you think 49.2% of murdered women were also the daughters of their murderers. And 36.2% of murdered women were also "other family members" of their murderers. There is absolutely no reason to multiply 19% by 71.3% and 81% by 28.7%. It is saying that, of the victims that were murdered by their spouses, 19% were male and 81% were female in these statistics. I would qualify this as "spousal murder." Unless you think, of all men murdered, 19% were the victim's spouse, 50.8% were sons, and 63.8% were other family members. Is that what you think?
