her 'apology' was best distilled by waam. It was not a real apology. It was an "I'm sorry you were offended by my attitude, but I still think I was right": I can help make it more clear... "I'm sorry, but..." "You are right, except..." "I was wrong, still..." "I have not moderated any comments thus far. I gave that disclosure because I was afraid my apology would kick up more dust than it was worth and I am trying to put this incident behind me. Further..."

But the simple truth, as this year’s report acknowledges, is that improving girls’ lives and achieving gender equality won’t happen without the partnership of boys and men, and of political and religious leaders, who are overwhelmingly male. this isn't out of concern for boys. this is an effort to get boys to support girls.

Nice job. the only real objection I have is the missing links for men facing domestic violence. imo, this link should be readily and immediately accessible: http://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/d8omt/list_of_resources_for_men_in_need_of_immediate/ the divorce prep links were also very useful: http://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/d8voq/advice_for_divorcing_men/ as well as recommended responses for false allegations: http://www.reddit.com/r/MensRights/comments/eka9e/what_you_should_d…

I sited a now-disputed statistic that I believed to be accurate to support my gut instinct. To be clear, I never accused any male volunteer of wrong doing. The bathroom at this particular schoo…

The idea of gender-segregated bathrooms is sound, but the most offensive part was that she wanted to protect girls from boys and men, not protect children.

that would be a bad idea. I sited a now-disputed statistic that I believed to be accurate to support my gut instinct. she did not cite a statistic. she pulled one out of her ass to support her bigotry. She did not think enough of this post to use the proper word "cited" rather than "sited." She closed comments. --- correction: you can leave comments if you reload the page here I will remove this post if any further negativity is directed at me or my family and I reserve the right to moderate com…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
