Generally, the DiCarlo Escalation Ladder to start off, but after a certain point I just start getting risky and pushing my luck with regards to letting my hands wander (both in public and in private), and usually it works out for the best.

I haven't seen her since, I wasn't really friends with her prior to that and I don't really work with her anyways. If I see her out again, I'll play it cool and try to escalate properly if the chance presents itself. Either way I don't really care, I'm past getting one-itis'd, and I think the past few times out have given me the confidence to pull it off properly.

I wouldn't say I felt drunk, certainly not intoxicated to the point of not being able to drive. I'd say it was probably about 6 drinks over the course of 6 hours. Also, I was less than a mile from my house, literally straight down the street. If I were, say, a few miles away in parts of downtown Boston and feeling tipsy beyond the point where I would pose a risk to other people, of course I would've taken a cab, no question.

I had 6 or so drinks over the course of 6 hours, I didn't feel all that intoxicated, more tired than anything else. I thought not kissing me in the car was also strange but she actually texted to apologize for "being weird" later on that same day. I thought nothing of it, really. nbd.

The next morning we were recounting it and she said she's "not really into PDA" -- in fact, she didn't even kiss me when getting out of the car when I dropped her off. Maybe she's just weird like that. When I was denied I didn't push for it, but I didn't pull back, either. Kept my hand on her upper thigh, kept eye contact, kept making conversation. Just acted as if I wasn't denied and was just enjoying the night and her company.

This is exactly what I followed, escalation. Started off with incidentally bumping her legs when she sat down next to me, to incidentally resting my hand on her lap after taking a sip of my drink, and worked my way up to putting my arm around her, touching her exposed skin, caressing her -- all leading up to a steamy makeout session.

At that point I think I just smiled at her, grasped her hand tighter, and led her back to the bar where we left our stuff. Honestly I didn't know how to react to this so instead of saying something stupid I just kept my resolve and avoided looking like a jackass. I need to work a bit on response to LMR, not that it mattered in this case, really.
