1	This. This so much. I understand where you're coming from. I still think that even in the case that it didn't land you would still want to dress appropriately. When you go to those events particularly when you're participating in them you would want to dress in business class attire. Also I wanted to say I appreciate how calm and polite you've been in this debate with me. I can't say I meet many people on Reddit who are this rational. 7	This. This so much. Still when you're going to a professional event were professional clothing, when you're going to a public or casual event wear casual clothing. It would be like you showing up to work with that shirt on a day you were announcing your promotion, it's a bit tacky. Yes the shirt was created by a friend and I can defiantly understand wanting to show it off but the event was wrong for the attire. 16	This. This so much. I think everyone has an understanding of professional vs casual clothing by the time they hit his age, and if not they really should ask before going to an event like that. I'm a woman don't find the shirt sexist or objectifying however I don't think it was the best choice for the occasion.
