Who the fuck gets an erection while giving a speech? Are you sure you've been a teenager? Fear and nervousness were definitely not erection causing material.

I don't think it's reverse sexism. I think there just aren't enough qualified males applying.

Shut the fuck up about being a man and fags. Actually, just shut the fuck up and get out. You know what being a man is about? Having a Y chromosome. Thank you, have a nice day, fuck off.

Are the expected values of the two actions the same?

Honestly, I don't care that they aren't doing anything. From all reports, it seems like it is the boy's fault anyways. They are the ones who are dropping out, they are the ones who aren't applying to college, etc. You can say that it's because Schools are more oriented towards female interests, but I honestly don't remember that in High School. Physical activities/learning is kind of a no show in High School, and plenty of boys do fine. Consider math, I think the last time physical objects made …

I don't see how they are mutually exclusive. One says that if they play the game, losing makes them ashamed, so they don't play at all. The other says that the penalties for not playing are low.

In regards to the bolded text, it can be both. In fact, that's what the author says, that it is both.

This is stupid. Filled with stupid ideas of masculinity. For example, sports, it has the unspoken assumption that men love sports. I certainly don't. I also question his claim that it's to be free of feminine influences, and then claim that children are out of place in it.

As far as I am concerned, self defense is always okay. It is this very principle that causes me to despise most schools punish everyone involved policy when, outside of school, that is not the case (most of the times?). If a girl punches you, you tell her that if she does it again you will defend yourself, and she proceeds attempt to punch you again, you should be allowed to retaliate.

I have to say, in the Bulger case that is mentioned in the article you linked...I think Im with the UK on that. However, in the case you linked there's not enough information for me to say either way. It appears they may not have quite understood the consequences of their actions...

That is a good point. However, there have already been attempts to correct racial inequalities with affirmative action, so it's not like the "they aren't trying hard enough" is the only rhetoric on that. But for boys I think it's pretty much always they aren't trying hard enough. As for me, I don't really care. I don't see the issue, 45% of the students are male? Seems like a large enough percentage, I'll start worrying when it's closer to 10%.

I had a class where some people involved in this business came to talk to us about it. Basically yes, that is their argument. That they have "generally found" that investing in women has more impact on the village than the men. That the women will spend on the family, spend on things that matter, whereas the men would waste it in some way. But then again, the entire class had very pro-women bias, it was all about helping women around the world. Helping women start their own businesses and helpin…

Is that also part of being a woman? Why do we have to talk about "being a man." Lets instead talk about being adults and dealing with adult responsibilities. Your expectations should not differ based on gender.

I don't see why schools should be in the business of non-academic anything.

The problem isn't really what some people said in the past. That isn't so much an issue. What is an issue is that, in fighting for their rights, feminists actually gained more power than is strictly equal. Which is why we some ridiculous situations pop up in child support payments, which is why domestic violence crimes are only seriously pursued against males, and etc. Now, in the face of such inequality, it is rather aggravating to see feminists still call for even more power.

It's stupid for the police to come up to "question" him anyways. He is not obligated to tell them anything other than basic information about himself.

No. The boy was not accused of rape. The woman alleged that she got raped by "someone" and then later it came out that she really had sex with the kid and said she'd make up the charges to take care of the pregnancy. The entire idea behind the rape claim was that no one would know the boy was involved, and the boy was not involved until he spilled the beans on her. The title is completely wrong. It's even clear in your quote. She made up the bogus rape story because she had sex with the boy, but…
