It seems that a large amount of TRP members believe that men are superior to women. Do you agree? Discuss. Isn't that the entire point of TRP?

If men only cared about fertility then "oneitis" wouldn't exist. If our biological role was to impregnate as many women as possible then we wouldn't develop any emotional connection to them. There's a lot of biologically evidence that humans are naturally designed to form pairs deeper than, "You're fertile so I want to fuck you."

I'm currently researching how overprofessionalization seems to be causing many women to lose the evolutionary race. Their independence and self-sufficiency seems to interfere with the vulnerability side if their femininity, resulting in a human that is 20% less likely to mate, which is such a huge drawback, after a certain number of generations have been chopped down by it, it might be enough to kill off their entire evolutionary existence. And the world will then be populated by more family-ori…

Then it has nothing to do with birth rates of different groups of people.

Yet the rise of career-oriented women was born from mostly stay-at-home moms. It doesn't seem that from here on out the decision to either be career-oriented or family-oriented is going to be almost exclusively linked to the circumstance of birth.

Becoming financially healthy can also be the manifestation of certain personality traits and one might be attracted to someone with those same traits.

I mean two people having compatible lifestyles and ideologies. Personally I wouldn't be attracted to someone who wasn't working towards personal goals. If their ideal life was sitting around watching TV and eating then I wouldn't be happy with that person because we wouldn't have mutually enjoyable activities. I can't see someone very goal oriented being attracted to a stoner slacker. They could. But people generally enjoy being around people who share similar interests and point of view. Just a…

That only makes sense if career-orientation and family-orientation are strongly linked to either genetics or direct influence from your parents. I think social and economic factors are much more important.

Why? If one of your values in life is to be hardworking and career oriented it doesn't seem like you'd be a good fit with someone who doesn't have any career ambitions. Obviously two such people can be good fits, but people are generally attracted to those most like themselves.

Sure, but if the person is at heart a stay at home metrosexual sewing man with teddy bear collections then he's probably going to be most happy with someone who accepts him for who he is, rather than creating a false persona in order to widen the dating pool. There's still advice in this sub that could help such a man find a suitable partner.

As a man I find this pretty bizarre. Personality is as important as being attracted to the person for me. It's like two pillars. Without both you can't support a relationship. There are some women whose personalities make it so that I couldn't spend a day with her, and others that could be my best friend. There's no way in hell I would ever consider making a commitment to someone if they didn't adhere to pretty strict standards on personality and values. And I really don't understand anyone who …

Yeah but she's aware that she's putting her career in front of you. As a man I would make the same decision. Maybe I'll have a better shot of settling down later in life than she will, but even if the situation was reversed I would still put career over a relationship.

I don't really care how anyone else decides to run their sex/relationship life. It's not my place to judge people's lives that I know little to nothing about.

The bridge is only for the brave and if you go there, you need to be happy even if you end up with yourself for the rest of your life. I don't understand how everyone doesn't go through life thinking this. No matter what path you choose there's never a guarantee that there's going to be a life partner for you along the way. You have to consider the possibility of ending up alone and how you're still going to make the best of it and be happy with yourself. Otherwise you're putting your own self-w…

On a side note, as we progress in the sciences and technology a lot of people are going to have their fairy tale world views come crumbling down in front of them. How so? As technology progresses we'll be able to prolong youthful attractiveness as well as childbearing years. The only reason this "fairy tale" is even possible is because of technology.

I think if you worked hard to become financially well off your ideal partner is someone with similar ambitions.

If you don't care to get to know me then why should I be attracted to you?
/r/seduction23/10/13 06:32 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
