When I asked my wife about one before getting married, even if I am all in and do not want for us to ever get a divorce, she said “I want to be with you for you, not your money, so I will sign it”.

I went to therapy. Helped me with my depression and other things that I will not divulge here. They are there to guide, not give you solutions because not everyone has the same solution. They are there to help you delve deep and find the root cause. If you wanna go get drunk with the homies, do it, but that will not solve for example past trauma.

Is that what I think said? Because that is not what I said :) I will go about asking for rights and the removal of privilege where women have it. But if you just start acting like a child, crying that “omg, they are mean, what am I not also allowed to be mean?!?!?” Most people will see you acting like a child, and nothing else. This does not mean to bend to anything, just that you need to use your head, the one on top of your shoulders, or you will not achieve anything good
/r/MensRights01/07/25 07:41 AM

Does not matter if you see open misandry. If we want rights, we need to ask for rights, not become the opposite of the extreme feminists that we see everywhere. You have a right to be angry but that does not help anyone, especially men and our rights

Yup, same here, for me the Orthodox church (East Europe). I do not know what liberal churches people go to that they do not have/know these things :))
/r/MensRights01/07/25 07:17 AM

There are 2 main Christian branches: Orthodox and Catholic. Both quite different to each other and the Orthodox are like what I said And I can see people do not know much about the church, the history, the branches, the schism, and all that
/r/MensRights01/07/25 07:16 AM

Because old religious ARE. Christian church literally calls itself patriarchal (I suspect that that is the origin of the word). Only men can be priests (and needs to be married to be able to rise to the title), at least in east europe. Men preach while women serve silently as nuns (and need to remain virgins). They see this, so they have an issue with it (sometimes with good reason). But the fact that they have only with christianity is weird for me But their messages are just stupid, they have …

To be honest sometimes some people on the sub degenerate into hateful words. We should talk and take action to bring our rights up, not focus on bringing women down, or everybody will only associate men’s rights with hating women (as they are trying to push currently)
/r/MensRights30/06/25 06:16 PM

Me too, I hope we can at least get the conversation going with petitions like these, and take it from there (even if it would be good to have some associations that can come together and have some proper requests)

/r/MensRights22/06/25 10:24 PM

And you think companies will not try to make more men be lonely and without options? Because to me it looks like they are doing it now. Also, instead of trying to improve the quality of both men and women, have more couples and children, we just offer shitty alternatives? More women with cats and men with sex robots? If that is the future, we will have full collapse in a few tens of years. We are already in full population decline in the west
/r/MensRights21/06/25 08:44 AM
5

I agree with you. I do not understand how people think it will not cause a full societal issue. With the increase in gender wars, hate towards men and the failure of the current western economy, this will 100% be an issue. It does not matter that there will be exceptions. We do not have enough children as it is, to maintain the population in the west. This will just help with the degradation.

Depends on the country and what their definitions are. Only a lawyer (solicitor) can help you properly with an answer to that question

Maybe she will implode, but depending on the country the courts are super slow to react and protect his child, and might even let it be just because a shit mother is better than no guardian, in some people’s view. He cannot just run. The gov might be able to take his income via taxes, might even imprison him if he fails to pay the child support. You cannot just run from things like these, you need to meet them head on. It will be an uphill battle, but he must climb and fight
/r/MensRights18/05/25 09:31 AM

Fight in court. If you run, she automatically wins everything. Stop giving bad advice Given it is HIS child, the gov will make sure he pays child support. But if he fights it he may be able to prove she was on happy pills and get custody and protect himself from false allegations.

I would steer clear of “red pill” and “manosphere” people. Watched some “red pill” videos and saw they are dumb as fuck. They have SOME valid points, but then start spewing stupid shit. They do not want men’s rights, but their own unimportant arses to be noticed. We need to be careful and be able to see the difference between where we as men have no rights and need them, and the likes of tate.

Yeaaah, let me know once you look into it how women “get the ick” or just fudge off as soon as men show weakness. And shifting blame from women and progressives that supposedly want men to show feelings, but hate men that do, to men is just ridiculous. “We want men to show feelings! But not straight men!”

A friend once told me: “it helps to keep the partners from making impulsive mistakes, like calling the relationship off in one drunk fight”. Helps people fight for it, knowing that you are truly one unit, and depending on the country it gives you rights and benefits, for example you can have some of the tax free allowance of your spouse if they do not work. It is not much and think should be more, but it is a step, given you are taken as a unit for other reasons if you live together. For me is t…

Then yes. It should. It is an act that is related ro sex, and needs some form of prior consent. You would not go around the street kissing people. Even in Brazil where kissing is more normalised, people ask for consent before doing it. If you want a comparison: should slapping someone be considered assault? The answer is yes. So kissing someone on lips is sexual assault.

I don’t understand your post. You want to say that kissing people on the lips is just ok? Unless you have consent, it is not ok. Just like we consider a partner kissing someone else as cheating: it is a sexual/romantic act

I can say for sure that we all need things from an emotional point of view. I say NEED and not WANT because sometimes you do not know how much you needed a hug until you get one. In my marriage we are both in our own ways needy. My wife always jokes that she and her friend say that she is sometimes the guy because of how she sometimes behaves. I always thought I was maybe needy until I found my wife and she is just giving me the type of affection and reassurance that I need, so I do not feel lik…

2 things: The income calculation is ok to pay kore if you make more (basically have it a fix %) because the child would have benefited from that if the parents would have been together and we want the child to grow without being hungry, BUT You are correct, courts give the child to mothers because reasons and the money for child support is most of the time improperly spent. Did you have a stroke? Can you articulate your ideas, please? “This bad, bad he!” Wtf is that supposed to mean? Men’s rights need to be asked for in a balanced way. We cannot just say “at any point the guy should be able to opt out”, because this can be easily abused. If you want fairness, it needs to be fair to both parties, not whatever red pill bullshit you are watching on youtube. We need to be better than the “feminists” when we ask for rights, and have proper ideas or asks

Difficult to say, because the guy could get her pregnant (like a gf) by saying he will be there, but then he goes and says he does not want the kid. The safest bet for both parties would be to “remember to sign the C-01 permit before any act that could result in a child“

I was in a similar spot as you are, 10 years ago. I started reading, going to therapy, working on myself (physically and mentally) and caring about myself a bit more. I focused also on work and less on people (career growth so I can work for a company that I bring value to and knows it). Also I thought that death comes for us all in the end. Depends on the person. I am happily married. My wife is like me: into both gender’s issues (we are different with different issues) and like I posted before I am a happier and better human because of her (she helps keep me from going into extremes). So you just need to find your person. There is a lot of mud to shift through before you find gold. It is not only this one, it is how we approach things. There are quite a few posts and comments that are not worded in a nice pr clear way. It just happened for me to comment on this one, and this is a good example. Do not expect the “audience” to change to your way, but change the way you approach explanations based on the audience. There are some that are not willing or ready to see our side, and that is fine, but some are, and we need to be careful not to push them away. There are some that see that others would purposely ignore or misinterpret.

Please do not say these things, you start to sound like UN Women: “1/4 reporters that are killed are women. Stop killing women!”. It is not really freedom. Sex with your partner helps keep the relationship up. Makes it easier to be understandful and patient with the other person, among other things. It is freedom if you are single or in a sexless relationship, otherwise it is hell.

The "maturity" was needed because they are the child bearers, meaning they need to be ready to give life and take care of the child, so they also needed to be able to properly choose a life partner (life being a big part), so the reality of being a person that can procreate hit faster and harder for them. Now there is less of this so.... They "live their lives" and the hit comes a lot later, when they have less people to "live" with. So less maturity (I would say on both sides, but more on their…
