My wife wants a divorceYou may have to pay “rehabilitation” to her while she looks for a job since she’s been out of the work force for so long. But considering she’s got a nursing degree that shouldn’t be a problem. Assuming her license is still active (that may complicate her getting job sooner or a leg up for her side). It won’t be pretty divorce bc you make so much. But as someone said don’t leave you’re the house. And keep your emotions in check (super hard task). I hope you have a good support system to talk to … | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/08/24 11:38 PM
She has HIVLet’s say she did cheat. What’s your course of action? Stay with her or divorce? If your answer is stay with her. Then you should push forward. If it’s divorce then I say with your gut and not drive you’re self insane. | /r/Divorce_Men | 23/07/24 07:40 PM
Don’t want anyone.I think you’re perfectly fine. You’re not wronging anyone or hurting anyone. Maybe you haven’t connected with that person yet. No rush. Enjoy you time and time with your boys. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/06/24 02:08 AM
Just seperatedNothing good is easy. Tough road ahead but focus on you. Hit the gym. Read some self improvement books. Try not to dwell on the uncontrollable. One day at a time. Just remember when you start drifting and reminiscing on the past…it was never going to work out. She was the cheater and the lair not you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/05/24 06:13 PM
The moment you thought it's overAnd as men we get the bad rap. When there are evil women out here doing shit like this. Leaving their babies and toddlers in apartment to go on vacation and cruises. Still the court system sides with them and perpetuates bad behavior and no accountability. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/04/24 04:14 PM

Help me articulate why divorce is so hard for menWhat’s the point than? Geez | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/24 12:47 AM
Help me articulate why divorce is so hard for menThose numbers are insane!! Who would ever want to get married? Even with prenup, it would still be costly with lawyer fees bc she’ll want to fight the prenup. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/04/24 12:33 AM
She says she is no longer attracted to me and we have never been sexually compatible, um, what?I wouldn’t pay much attention to what she has to say. Do yall have kids together? If you don’t then that’s even a better reason to excommunicate. It’s only been a few months so emotions are still there. You go be better version of yourself and let her be who she is. Def don’t go snooping in her affairs there really no point in it. Look forward not backwards. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/04/24 07:06 PM
Need of divorce lawyerActually this will be my second divorce. Had not so great experience with the first go around. And with my first wife she was money hungry and took me to court few times. I always paid child support to her. In fact 2 days after we separated for the last time, I gave her half my check (every paycheck) bc she wasn’t working yet and in nursing school. I did that for 32 months before divorce was finalized and before a judge even told me I had to. She dragged her feet bc she needed my health insuranc… | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/04/24 05:16 PM
Help me articulate why divorce is so hard for menYes unfortunately. Didn’t learn first time around. Diff person. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/04/24 01:13 PM
Need of divorce lawyerNot my first rodeo and def not my first lawyer. First lawyer didn’t care much didn’t fight much for me and years later I paid the price bc of my own ignorance at the time. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/04/24 10:58 AM
I should feel bad but I don'tWhat did she work soooo hard for? Finding someone to support her? | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/04/24 02:35 AM
Help me articulate why divorce is so hard for menOnce I came to terms that divorce was the only solution, the hardest part was definitely not seeing the children as much. My ex-wife would make it especially difficult and retaliate with declining my time with them during the course of finalizing the divorce and parenting plan. All the time I felt helpless and zero support system didn’t help. And now I’m heading down that road…again 🥲. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/04/24 02:30 AM
