Hang out with people who are experienced. Listen to how they talk about things, their perception, opinion, level of excitement or calmness. Watch how they act in situation. Body language, personality, etc. Then read a book on pleasing women so you at least have some knowledge when it happens. I suggest She Comes First. Honestly, everybody dates, everybody flirts, everybody fucks. Its widely accepted. Nothing to get overly hyper or nervous about or overthink. Just act like you've done it and its …

The last couple of weekends I've been watching the most recent 3-4 videos off of Julien from RSD's youtube channels before going out and I find it really motivating. Honestly went from being in a slump to getting 2 numbers and a hookup and a possible day 2(still working on the day 2) over the last 2 weekends. Disclaimer: I am not a fashion model nor do I look like one

Love of my life is not about the sentence its about what the sentence does for the girl in terms of feeling. I've used similar lines that accomplish the same thing, heres how it works: 1- Girl mentions something about herself, like how she has a blue nose pitbull. The "blue nose pitbull" really hits with you because you have one and are a huge fan. 2- You say "OMG I LOVE YOU" or "OMG YOU'RE MY HERO" with a big smile and continue to enthusiastically explain how you have a blue nose pit and you ar…

Right I understand, and the point i think the OP was trying to make and that I didn't even mention myself was that by making the claim about womens' insecurity levels, its easier to understand that they are just as human as men and shouldn't be looked up to or feared for some unrealistic reasons - sounds dumb but I think lots of inexperienced guys put women on that pedestal.

I would say women are at least equally insecure as men. They all put on fronts but when you get to know them, theres always something they are insecure about. Yeah a girl can be the hottest one at the party but it doesn't change the fact that she has an insecurity about the space between her front teeth or freckles on her arm (dumb stuff). And if it's something that they focus on a lot (every time they are in front of a mirror) then its something that can really bring down their self confidence.…

The book is probably the best I've read. But what you said is true, I see so many damn threads on here about people asking such specific questions about specific instances, or just asking or trying to figure out things that will have no effect on their success with women. I can't even open some of these threads after reading the titles. People just need to get out and learn for themselves, nothing is concrete in this game all the books and articles are just an arrow pointing you in the right dir…

I'm almost 22 and believe me girls aren't any more mature in college than they are in highschool (for the most part). Like someone else mentioned, work around the social norms. If you feel like its creepy that you're just going up and talking to a girl that you don't know from class or through friends, just start by talking about her shoes or bracelet or something so it seems like you just wanted to comment on it. Then just simply change the convo: so i havent seen you around before, what year a…

I say stop hanging out with people who don't have your same interests in mind. Go out on your own. It sounds bad at first, and I wasn't comfortable with it at first either, but after 2-3 times of doing it, you can get comfortable being out on your own. As a matter of fact - some of my BEST nights have been when I was out solo. It gives you something to talk about (how you're out alone) and also provides a little more motivation to talk and get shit done. Don't feel pressured to talk, but if you …

Girls are fucking weird sometimes thats just the way it is. Happens to everyone - you, me, my best friend who gets girls by the dozens. But thinking about the million reasons why is never going to help. Just keep doing you, find another girl there are millions of them.

I wouldn't ever want my money to attract women but that's just me. Use it as a way to feel confident and comfortable but you'll just be attracting girls who will treat you as a potential husband and maybe hold off on sexual relations in order to hold on to you(sucks right?). Work on your personality and the stuff that really matters

i know you've read a lot and so you may have read Models by Mark Manson already, I've been recommending it a lot lately just because I just read it and think its such a great book. Anyway there's got to be something thats a little off or something that maybe the book can help you realize. Secondly, I'm also in grad school except I'm only about 2 years deep into the seduction stuff, so I can kind of relate. I've had a few girls throw themselves at me too but they were all sub par in the looks dep…

I totally agree with the part about meeting more women being one of the parts to success with women(because of women partially being a numbers game and gaining more reference experience each time). I think the reason a lot of guys make up excuses is because they may be living in a small town or really rural area that has few women/scarce nightlife. I live in a really populated area and I've seen it all- great looking women dating great looking men, bald men, short men, skinny men, chubby men. Of…

Hey sorry I didnt catch the part about you reading the book. But yeah your location is definitely a part of the problem. The same bar definitely gets played out real quick and you definitely can't be there 3 nights a week. My next suggestion probably seems a bit extreme and I know you just said you don't have the finances right now, but move to a more populated area. NYC probably has a job in your field and definitely has tons of women. You have to decide what is important to you in your life ri…

I'm almost 2 years deep brother, while I still haven't fucked a girl I've had a fair amount of success otherwise. I saw a post about the book "Models" by Mark Manson on seddit 1-2 weeks ago, and ended up reading the book. The book is probably the best book out on seduction, not pick up(actually a difference. The book will teach you to be more of a natural. Pick up is all techniques and theory etc). There's bound to be 1 or 2 or 3 things in there that will help straighten you out....because other…

Just finished Models by Mark Manson, its amazing, takes all the little pieces of seduction advice and brings it together in one book that makes logical sense. Its not a bunch of far reaching pick up techniques either. Hard to explain but a MUST MUST MUST read.

When girls aren't talking enough there are usually 2 things that I kind of automatically do because their shyness just makes me want to open them up and get them talking and comfortable. Anyways I usually ignore their shyness and keep talking a lot as if everything was going normal, and sometimes they just get sucked into your reality and get comfortable and join in the conversation. The other thing I do is lightly joke with them about it, like "so are you guys always this quiet?" and give them …

Almost done with the book, I gotta say its been an amazing read. As a guy who has been progressing a lot with women for close to 2 years, I just want to say out of all the books I've read - Double your dating, The art of approaching, How to become an alpha male, Magic bullets, and countless others, as well as a few of the RSD DVD series -- This book has by far been the closest thing to reality for me so far, and just makes the most sense - no techniques, deep psychological theory (there is some …

I usually drink an energy drink. For some reason by Friday evenings I just want to pass out at 7pm after the week of school & work. But regardless I find redbull or 5hr energy gives me enough pep to have a sharp mind good for conversating, being energetic, enthusiastic, and not being exhausted and looking like I'm going to fall asleep. Also I try not to drink too much because alcohol usually will make me more fuzzy headed/tired if im already tired. Works for me but hey I have friends who think m…

This is a learning experience for you. Yes it was good to go for the kiss rather than not go for it and wonder about her while she's gone. But would have been even better to just get close, get your head close to hers, and go in and kiss her. But again, at least you won't be hanging out with her wondering if you should make a move for the next 2 years. Now you have a little more balls and a little more confidence and experience. So when the next one girl comes around - don't be afraid to get clo…

I have a friend who has banged dozens of girls and still fucks new girls on a regular basis and I showed this to him and he thinks its very true. I'm not saying his word is law, but I'm saying to all the haters on this thread that the guys who are very good with women are posting here tending to agree with what was posted. I didnt kiss a girl until I was 20 so don't feel bad. 20 is actually when I decided to work on my social life with women.....starting from absolute scratch. Its 1.5 years later and I've come a long way, had a good amount of success, and still working on improving further. My best advice: Don't feel bad you aren't really out of the ordinary. I've been improving myself for a year and a half now. I went from never kissing anyone at age 20 to having several interactions, hookups, numbers, etc (still haven't got laid) a year and a half later. It has definitely been a huge night and day improvement. I've changed myself personality wise and looks wise (for the better). I only go out like twice a week on the weekends. I'm happy for how far I've come but a lot of the time definitely wish I could be a lot better than what I currently am. The…

I was (and still can be) a serious guy, but I've gotten a lot better, and I'll say that being fun and playful helps a LOT. One of my friends told me "fake it til you make it" even if you aren't in the best mood, just act like you're having fun. The best way I can describe it other than that, is to just "let loose" a little, smile, talk about funny/odd things that happened to you this week, and make fun of those things, laugh about it. Girls aren't hard to get to laugh. If the girls are acting re…

This is a really good thread. The length of an interaction that ends in rejection is usually pretty short anyway which makes it easy to not remember. On the flipside though, missed opportunities and not escalating really hurt. If I'm ever in a situation where I am not escalating or approaching, I just think of that bad feeling of ending up in a friendzone or feeling like a bitch for not approaching, and that usually gets me moving. The funny thing is, taking action usually turns out well.

Dont look to "get their opinion" you aren't trying to get anything from them. I know it sounds weird, but when you think of girls and the role they play in the dating scene, they are there to become a part of your life(to get sucked into your life). They already know about themselves and what they are doing here, they want to experience YOU. And if YOU are confident, and can have fun with them then they'll stick around for more. If this world was an amusement park, she is a female attendee and y…

Well the problem has been that we both still live at home and its hard to find a window of time when parents aren't home and neither of us are working. We'll chill in my car sometimes after getting food or going to the movies and just BS because we have nowhere else to go but home. I was thinking that if you had someone you're attracted to naked right next to you, most people would go for it because its right there, you like the person, and most people in the right mind would probably go for it …

No I wouldn't just 'randomly whip it out.' I know how to time it right, not just awkwardly randomly whip it out. We hang out often, I know for sure she really likes me due to our past experiences that I was trying to avoid typing. But I know she doesn't want to seem like a whore because we aren't in a relationship, because it logistically wouldn't work out(for other longer reasons that I wont type out). "These are just social skills that have been given a name" You are so right. Once you are doing stuff automatically without thinking, it doesn't seem like "opening" "negging" "kino-ing" etc. Its just an easy flowing minor piece of the interaction. I guess they need names so people know what they are, but there is a lot of over emphasis on how big of a deal they actually are. And you can only understand this by going out and practicing and seeing it for yourself. This is a good post

All of the most successful people in any aspect of life have failed. You need to fail to learn and succeed. What I think is more important for someone with social anxiety is 3 realizations: There will always be a next girl. Stop taking shit so personally. You are afraid of rejection or failure, but you have stop taking rejections so personally. Girls don't always reject because they know/think you're an AFC. They do it for so many reasons- girls love attention, some will just dedicate a whole ni…

Right. Shit happens, we live and learn. I am still learning myself, just got out of a short relationship with a girl that came with a TON of baggage(problems). Lesson: if you see a girl that has baggage - run far, far away. I used to read a ton of PUA stuff in the beginning too, and honestly besides learning the basics like kino, and the importance of going out and talking/getting out of my shell, it just got me overthinking and stuck inside my head. I've always learned the best from just being …

It seems like you probably just were overthinking/nervous. You gotta be comfortable talking to anyone, at any given time, about any given thing. You didn't have to play hard to get or make her work for it. Its about the energy of the conversation. If you gave her a big smile and said "thanks, whats your name?" it would have kept the good energy going. You exchange names, now are comfortable, then you can get a little sarcastic and be like....."so i'm guessing you didn't really want the dollar...…

It can help sometimes but its not the end-all-be-all. What I find really works is just being sick of the horrible feeling of going home knowing I didn't put any effort in. So I'll really mentally motivate/push myself to go talk to girls. And I don't mean 1 girl. or 2. Those first few will usually go bad because you are not really "warmed up" but I experience this all the time: after talking to the first girl, its like a switch flips on and the anxiety gets cut in half and you are actually more m…

im hooking up with a girl in my restaurant where i work....i would say just make sure you know first if they are in a relationship or not and if they are hooking up with anyone at the moment...otherwise risk embarassment/wasting time. Own the frame! If you go up to her and are feeling like a creep or a little nervous because you just approached her in a grocery store, then she will see it and respond accordingly. If you act comfortable and confident like you aren't doing anything out of the ordinary then she'll respond the same way.

yeah less nervousness comes with experience, just talk to them all like you were talking to that girl - on a more personal level because you already knew her. Once you are on that level you aren't really looking for approval, you get more playful because you are comfortable with them. And thats when your personality comes out, and boom !

You sound like you have a lot of psychological/self confidence things to get over first. Every single man that is out getting women is up against the same tasks (more or less) that you are. You can be sure that the guys who you see having a lot of success have failed probably just as much. "Taking action and learning" are the 4 words that will make you win.

I had a period of time where I would try to wait for eye contact as an excuse to talk......didn't work out well. A lot of girls feel creeped out by eye contact if you are staring at them too much/too long. Once you find a few targets, just grab your balls and go give one of them a confident pat with your hand and say "hey!" usually works for me.

All the things you listed are good, but you have to realize all of that stuff has to be automatic subconsciously done. You can't be in the middle of an interaction and trying to decode wtf is going on and how to react or you'll fuck up very fast. My absolute best nights have been when I'm in a great mood- happy and excited to be out, and MOTIVATED to go interact with women. I don't think at all. I don't think. Being 18-20 sucks because you can't legally drink at bars etc. I didnt even start going out until I was 20 and got a fake ID to get myself into bars. But aside from that, try to find a club with teen nights or an 18 y/o entry age. If that's not a possibility, most people where I live just get some beer/ other liquor and find a spot to chill and have a good time. Be creative, even if you take a girl somewhere boring like a park, you can make it fun by being creative and trying to have fun with he…

Being fun is such a big deal. I used to be one of the guys reading RSD Nation and various other pick up advice, and I had a little bit of success but nothing great by any means. I started focusing on how my natural friend who gets women like its his job does stuff and "fun" is a pretty good explanation. How? When you're having fun, talking to random women is just part of the good time. What you say doesn't matter, they can see you are happy and just enjoying yourself and they want to know more a…
