You act like this girl was a victim. You and her are completely different, and I would be surprised if many women were actually fearful of being convicted of fabricating stories. If you don't completely change your story around your police report will be treated with the same respect as any other. I believe that most women would just prefer to forget it. Nevertheless, you should immediately go forward about what happened to you.

Hey! I just thought of a crazy concept that would prevent this type of situation almost entirely! Establishing guilt beyond a reasonable doubt before sentencing anyone to jail for a crime. Yea, how come we aren't doing that anymore?

Unbelievable. She should be locked up AND get help. If she is not punished for trying to ruin the life of an innocent man, there is no legal deterrent to stop this BS from happening in the future.
