How to get a six pack? It's 90%+ diet, you need to get lean enough to see your abs past any body fat. Eat in a calorie deficit and add some cardio if the deficit becomes painful to maintain. Remember that we all genetically hold body fat in different regions, and where you put on fat first is where it comes off last. For most men, the last fat you lose is in the stomach region. Ideally you'd want to get down to somewhere between 8-12% body fat to start seeing abs. The other 10% or so is actually having strong (well-de… | /r/askTRP | 28/05/20 12:41 PM

I'm finding myself bored at my summer internship. The tasks just don't excite me at all. Is this a me problem or a work problem?I second this. Remember when you're interviewing with a company, you should be interviewing them as much if not more than they're interviewing you. Find out during the interview if the tasks are what you want to be working on, if not, don't accept the offer. | /r/askTRP | 23/07/19 02:11 PM
You workout?I usually look over at my arm and flex my bicep, then I look up, shrug, and say "sometimes". | /r/askTRP | 19/07/19 05:57 PM
How do you deal with an extreme bitch shield at work?Work is for working, not for drama. Just do your damn job, do it well, and quit complaining online. | /r/askTRP | 14/06/19 06:20 PM
High SMV but still getting rejectedYour approaches likely come off as intimidating and/or awkward. Approach 1: You touch a stranger before saying any words. Immediately you've disrupted her comfort zone and she's likely not going to respond well to anything after that. Approach 2: You open by asking her name without any generic opener or even simply saying hi. Simply asking someone immediately what their name can come off as intimidating and disruptive. It's generally polite in social situations to introduce yourself before askin… | /r/askTRP | 07/06/19 12:40 AM
Does watching porn lower your framePorn can act as a hindrance to approaching women. Your mind will subconsciously tell you that you don't need to approach a woman because you can get instant dopamine gratification from watching a much more attractive woman via your computer screen. Your mind also sees this as both less work to receive dopamine as well as a buffer to avoid potential rejection. | /r/askTRP | 06/06/19 08:33 PM
I messed upThe Rational Male suggests that this attitude towards a long distance relationships is being unconsciously used as a buffer to future rejection: "A guy will entertain an LDR because it was based on a previous acceptance of intimacy and being no longer convenient (due to distance) the guy will cling to the 'relationship' because it's a buffer against potential rejection from new woman instead of accepting the relationship as being finished and maturely re-entering the dating pool. | 2 | Is it okay for me to ask for a girls phone number on LinkedIn?Short answer: no. Longer answer: You state you developed many meaningful connections at your intership, yet you only said a few words to this girl instead of making a connection with her. Now you're trying nearly a year later to get her number? This reeks of a complete lack of an abundance mentality to me. | /r/askTRP | 03/06/19 06:46 PM
Did my friend fuck this one up for me?Dang dude there are no other girls in the world besides this hostess so I understand your need to make a lengthy post instead of not giving a fuck and moving on from this loss. | /r/askTRP | 20/05/19 02:50 AM
Intermitten Fasting for cutting?I do IF and eat 1 large meal and a few snacks between 2pm and 10pm. Understand though that there is nothing particular magical about IF. Fasting itself won't help you lose weight any faster. IF works for fat loss because it helps you focus on your caloric deficit by limiting the amount of time you can eat food. I would recommend a deficit of ~300-600 calories/day depending upon how much fat you're trying to lose and how quickly. As for lifting, you should still lift according to your plan so tha… | /r/askTRP | 13/05/19 02:48 PM
CollegedO wHaT yOu wAnT tO You should be at least partially interested in this advice because you want to choose a major that can lead to a career in which you're truly interested in the work. If you choose a major like computer science because it's in demand and pays well you'd want to at least have an initial interest in computers, how systems work, emerging technology, etc. You don't want to enroll in the major and hope that you enjoy computer science 3 years into college. Worse, you don't want to "… | /r/askTRP | 03/05/19 10:16 PM

You Know What You Need To Do, You Just Don’t Do ItOne thing I like to utilize is a mobile app called (Loop) Habit Tracker. At the end of each day, I open the app and put a check next to any habits I've followed through with that day. Some habits I track include following diet, lifting, practicing piano, watching less than an hour of tv, flossing teeth, etc. The simple act of inputting my habit success into this app gives me a boost of dopamine and furthermore allows me to find patterns in my habit behavior. | /r/TheRedPill | 20/02/19 04:57 AM
Does anyone else get socially awkward or even “depressed” when they haven’t been to the gym in a while? This sounds like a common case of "I don't have time for X" which translates to "I'm not making X a priority". If you're feeling depressed because you're not going to the gym, then make it a priority to go to the gym. | /r/askTRP | 12/01/19 12:51 AM
What are your TRP goals for 2019?As true as this is, it can also work in reverse. If you tell other people your goals (not internet people), it can generate motivation in the sense that you don't want to be someone who goes back on their word. The people you tell can also hold you accountable for not reaching your goals giving you a subsequent boost of motivation. | /r/askTRP | 31/12/18 05:40 PM
Thoughts on 48 rules of power?I thought it was a solid book. The stories are interesting and help reinforce the laws. I don't necessarily agree with all of the laws nor are all of them applicable to me personally. However, I do see most of the laws as helpful guidelines and plan to implement them into my life. | /r/askTRP | 26/12/18 03:57 AM
