Criticize this masterpiece then: you're one pathetic sack of fucking shit

Good god, man. This thread is nearly a year old. What are you doing here? Looking for whack off material?
/r/MensRights27/12/21 07:54 AM

I'm baffled that you can so completely lack self-awareness of your own comments. I've read our exchange. It starts with me saying nut whacks are funny. It continues with you insulting me with bigoted and male-unfriendly language, and then with you trying to backtrack and claim some kind of savior role for men. So, like I said, acting like a fool. You're deluding yourself, pal, but not gaslighting me. You're a negative person, a negative presence in this sub, and an embarrassing man. You're also …

You're a fool and a bully, and I think you've got a bad sense of humor to boot. Your relationship to women, and even other men, has much room for improvement. You're also way too hung up on dicks and pussy, in my opinion.

You're a macho weirdo because you say "sissies" and "cucks" and "panties in a bunch" unironically. At least you seemed serious. I don't know what "hashtag rape all women" is, but if it's funnier than a good ol'-fashioned whack in the nards, I'll eat my goddam shoe.
/r/MensRights16/02/21 06:42 AM
2

Not quite. Fact is, there were two men more qualified on the subject than this woman was. They all have real degrees.
/r/MensRights15/02/21 09:28 PM

What? Based on whatever your comment is, you seem like a macho weirdo.

I get it. Yes it's still funny
/r/MensRights15/02/21 08:29 AM

Less so, but definitely in some situations. That happens in this video. I laughed.

Why just the army? Why not all branches of the military? And for which country? For example, in Israel, women are also subject to compulsory military service, but both men and women can choose civil service instead if they object to fighting. Your thoughts on this seem half-baked and ill-informed.
/r/MensRights14/02/21 06:56 PM

It's horrible. Glad we could clear up that it's not a men's rights issue, since it's based on an assumption.
/r/MensRights13/02/21 10:20 PM

Would a man have gotten more? What's a normal sentence? Did the article mention anything about it having to do with her being a woman?
/r/MensRights13/02/21 09:43 PM

How do you know that? Is it in the article I was too afraid to click?
/r/MensRights13/02/21 07:54 PM
1

Is this a men's rights issue?
/r/MensRights13/02/21 04:04 PM
-3

That's not accurate
/r/MensRights13/02/21 04:03 PM
1

Sure, that sounds motivated by your gender. But grade school? High school? Are you sure all of this is because you're a guy?
/r/MensRights09/02/21 10:39 PM
3

This is really more of a vintage van's rights issue.
/r/MensRights09/02/21 08:43 PM
3

What country? How old are you? You don't mention anything about girls being treated better than boys, just that you think you got a raw deal in school, presumably by female teachers. Is there any other reason teachers might have disliked you besides your gender? I've had plenty of teachers treat me in similar ways, but I was kind of a smart ass and a class clown. I had it coming.
/r/MensRights09/02/21 08:41 PM

No, I literally don't agree that forced military service is literally slavery because it literally isn't you literal bellend. Get lost.
/r/MensRights09/02/21 09:45 AM
-1

Please stop. Nobody on this sub will agree with you, and you're doing damage to the credibility of every reasonable person here. Also, I said LITERAL slavery, genius.
/r/MensRights09/02/21 09:23 AM
0

Yes, I will provide you with one very obvious reason: literal slavery As for the second part, I don't need a source to know about segregated busses, lol. I'm just telling you that trains and busses were not around for 100 years prior to end of racial segregation in the US. They did not yet exist.
/r/MensRights09/02/21 08:37 AM
5

It's a terrible analogy that makes men's rights look like a joke. Also, trains and busses did not exist for 100 years prior to the end of Jim Crow laws and American segregation. That's a nitpick, but still.

I'm a big Manson fan, I like Depp a lot, and I think Heard is smoking hot. I hate to think any of them are monsters, but Heard turned out to be an abusive psycho. It's possible Manson is, too. I'll just have to wait and see how it shakes out.
/r/MensRights02/02/21 07:31 PM

I wish this video would have had anything to do with Mr. Depp saying "you saved me." Instead, it's just a rehash of the whole situation with no conclusion, and fairly bad script.

/r/MensRights22/12/20 06:33 AM

You having a difference of opinion is not sexist. It's bothersome that you would give any credence to that accusation. Also, would your female co-student like to go live in the past when things were actually pretty fucked up for women? I think she would not.

From another response I just wrote: I said that the hero dude is more of a real man, because the dude above sees this story as an opportunity to whine about how he feels excluded by somebody else calling the dead hero a "real man." Side by side, the hero dude is the better more real man than the guy who thinks this is really about men's rights, which it isn't.

So what?

No, you must have misunderstood me.
/r/MensRights28/11/20 10:33 PM
-2

No, I'm saying he is a much realer man than the person I replied to. He's definitely more of a man than me, too, though. Nobody is not a real man for surviving a shooting, or dying in a shooting. It's just a tragedy, and this guy is a hero. And he's a real as fuck man.
/r/MensRights28/11/20 10:32 PM
0

You assume he would not have done it for a man.
/r/MensRights28/11/20 10:30 PM
-2

That's not part of this
/r/MensRights28/11/20 10:29 PM
-4

Nobody asked him to be a shield, and nobody would call him a pussy for surviving a shooting. As a human, he chose to die to try and save another. It has nothing to do with societal pressure. He didn't do it because he was afraid of living and being called a pussy. This man is a hero. It's proof of nothing else. You are very confused.
/r/MensRights28/11/20 10:05 PM

That's not very cash money of her. She sucks. Don't let it get you down. You're not garbage, and your abuse was real. Hang in there, and believe in yourself.

That's all fine
/r/MensRights28/11/20 09:21 PM

You wouldn't see many cases of this from either gender. If men are more willing to do it than women, then their bravery should make you proud as a positive reflection on your gender. Since gender seems to be the most important part of identity to you.

It would say that if he saved a man's life, too. You're part of the problem because this has nothing to do with men's rights. It has to do with you preferring it if the woman died instead. You're crazy biased, just like a feminist.

/r/MensRights28/11/20 09:08 PM

If he threw the woman into gunfire to save himself, he'd be less of a man to me. By that same token, his sacrifice made him more of a man. He remains equally male in either circumstance though.

I think it's safe to assume that this man and his female coworker were friends. He is a much realer man than you.

This man made that choice himself, and I'm truly humbled by his sacrifice. This is not a men's rights issue. Dying to save the life of another person is among the most noble of human actions. Sacrificing your life takes great bravery and strength and force of will, which are all masculine attributes, and are definitely part of what it means to be a real man. If you saw that post and thought it would be better for the woman to have died, or that this man's sacrifice should not be reported on beca…

Please completely disregard my comment. It was just a misogynistic joke made in poor taste, really for no reason other than sometimes I can't help myself from making bad jokes. Just about every man would appreciate a meal (or, by god, a BJ) any day of the year, and I bet your man is no different. I've never specifically celebrated or even been aware of Men's Day or Women's Day in any of my relationships, but I'm sure it would be a touching gesture to do something special for your opposite-sex pa…

I'm thinking numbing cream could have saved this kid's life. There are many millions of people living with intense chronic pain. It often drives them to consider suicide. We've got medicine to make that better. I feel bad for this poor guy.

I don't want to be taller or have a bigger dick or any of that either. I'm comfortable in my existing body. Might go for a cyborg update when I'm old and frail, though. I think an interesting question is why you feel your circumcised penis is worse than intact. Does it cause you any problems?

/r/MensRights05/11/20 03:51 PM

Unpopular opinion, but this rule is a species-survival adaptation. Just one man could impregnate all those women, but each woman can only have one baby every 10 months or so. Women are more reproductively valuable. Any society that doesn't give women an edge in this way is suicidal in the long run.
/r/MensRights05/11/20 03:33 PM
-7

Very sad. After reading the article, it seems like his circumcised dick was uncomfortable to him because it was too sensitive? Surely there must be a better way of dealing with that than suicide.

That's correct. Being circumcised has caused me no problems in my 35 years of living, and I wouldn't want my dick to suddenly look and feel different. I'm used to it, and have no desire to fix what ain't broken, so to speak.

I'm like 99 percent sure that self-discipline is the same thing as self-control. What do you think it is? Like flagellation?
/r/MensRights03/11/20 05:44 AM

In the same way that not having a drink or a smoke is self discipline. Instead of doing that thing that makes you feel good out of habit or whatever, you have the discipline to deny yourself that thing you want. What perspective would make it NOT self discipline?

Crime has been out of control in LA, so I voted for it on the basis that it would make repeat theft a felony. You just have to weigh the pros and cons. I don't intend to commit theft and I'm not a violent man inside or outside of my relationships, so I'm not worried either way. By the way, my old neighbors frequently fought, and they only ever arrested her on domestic violence charges, never the man.

I think that's a fine question. What somebody does for a living is a valid way to inform your impression of them. Asking how much money a person makes is rude, though.
/r/MensRights18/10/20 04:30 AM
2

It's generally considered rude to ask a man how much money he earns. That also applies to women for like the last 100 years, but it's the closest equivalent I can think of. Women are sensitive about their age and weight, it's one of those things you do try to avoid bringing up if you want to act like a gentleman. At least in the US, it's also still generally rude to ask people their religion, income, race, sexual preference, or who they voted for, since those are all dumb things to base an impre…

I take you seriously, and I'm very sorry that happened to you.
/r/MensRights18/10/20 03:47 AM

I accept that. The idea of it being a man is probably just down to the fact that, most of the time, a man will be stronger and more physically capable than a woman.
/r/MensRights14/10/20 04:40 AM
-3

I'd say so. There's nothing wrong with a societal obligation. Society is bigger than one man, we all work together to keep it going. You could argue that the number one thing about being a man is a penis, of course, but I'm thinking bigger.
/r/MensRights14/10/20 04:25 AM
-19

A man should definitely risk his life and health to protect the people he loves. That's like the number one thing about being a man. The rest are a bit weird.
/r/MensRights14/10/20 02:16 AM

Just curious. Sometimes I worry that some men's rights folk might be slipping into the same kind of gendered bias that plagues feminism.

That could be a reasonable concern. But consider that starting at a new job may actually put you farther away from a promotion, so you'd want to try and find a higher starting salary if your main concern is future-proofing.
/r/MensRights30/09/20 03:55 AM

Are you being fired? Because if not it doesn't seem like you'll need to worry about discrimination. If you want to quit for moral reasons then that's your prerogative. You'll probably have better luck with smaller companies.

I'm sure you could move just about anywhere and join the armed forces of that country if you're desperate to serve. Unless you're actually disabled, strength won't be a problem. They will train you and make you exercise. Or if you wanted to serve in India, you could probably just hit the gym.
/r/MensRights28/09/20 11:16 PM

I don't think the solution is drafting both genders, it's not having a draft at all. In that sense, we're half way there, maybe three quarters, since there's not actually a draft in America, just mandatory registration for one for males.
/r/MensRights28/09/20 11:12 PM
1

You may be talking about things that aren't actually rights. At least in America, all men and women and races and genders and religions have equal rights under the law.
/r/MensRights27/09/20 02:22 AM
2

I'm American, and I believe you. I mean, I haven't done any research, but the per capita thing makes sense. Still more rapes in India if that's the case, but it's misleading if you go by the sheer numbers.
/r/MensRights26/09/20 08:20 PM
1

That's the right way to measure it, and it explains why there isn't a story about a gang rape in Sweden every week.
/r/MensRights26/09/20 08:08 PM

What rights? Men and women have the same rights.

Well I live in America, so the relevance to western society is clear to me. And I still think OP is overstating it

Words are gender skewed, though. Like you might call your female boss a bitch, but that wouldnt work for a male boss because it would mean he's a wimp. You'd have to call him an asshole or a dick to mean the same thing as calling your female boss a bitch.

I've seen such videos. They have persuaded me that some feminists are nuts, but they have not persuaded me to agree wholesale with this post.

I don't think they meant it demotivated them. I think they meant that their employees and peers didn't take them seriously like they did their male counterparts.

Ah, that rings a bell. Well I do think bossy isn't the same as geek or nerd. Those women weren't just complaining about being called names. They were complaining about the same actions not being treated equally for both genders. Which is kind of what we're about here, right?

That makes sense on a per capita basis

That surprises me. I hope this wasn't in sex ed.

I find that claim dubious but I'm no expert. But I swear Reddit has like one news article per week about a gang rape in India.

I don't know that craze. I do remember that one Gillette ad, though

I agree with the sentiment, but I just really haven't seen this double standard much at all. Maybe I'm not watching enough commercials or something

Masculinity can be good and bad. There are many examples of masculinity being a positive influence in popular media. I understand your point, but I don't think it's nearly as cut and dry as you're making it out to be. I've only been a member of this sub a short time, and I joined because it seemed to offer a reasonable perspective. I think it ought to be about equality, not arguing with the spectre of pop culture's recent obsession with strong female characters. There's room for all kinds of cha…

Was the teacher male or female? Or other?

This isn't a punishment for men, though. It's just a lack of punishment for women, after dark

This is weird, but I would guess it has something to do with India's huge rape problem.

Seems reasonable enough. How do you figure that plays out with MRA though?
/r/MensRights25/09/20 09:05 AM

I'd wager that some MRA people are also wrong, and not real MRA

I'm sure they're out there, just like crazy feminists. But they're wrong.

You're being hyperbolic here. It's not nearly as bad as you're making it out to be.

I feel like binoculars wouldn't change the equation legally, any more than putting your glasses on would. But I don't know.

This is not a fun quirky story, but is it a crime? If you're in your house, and you can see what's going on in somebody else's house, are you obliged to close your own curtains?

Must be ratings

Me too! There are many horror stories out there. I wish I had some advice besides just "be poor," lol. But I did want to step in and say there are plenty of good women to counterbalance the bad ones. If I can find them in LA, they should be more common elsewhere.

50/50 split on food, basically. Still more eating out then I do on my own, but it was a fair split. Never bought a girl clothes or jewelry, or anything other than affordable xmas and birthday presents. On Valentine's Day, all I've ever done is take a walk around the neighborhood and pick flowers, and arrange them nicely in a vase. I've done this with all three of the previous women, and told them where the flowers came from. Heck, one of them even lent me 500 for rent one time. If anything, I'm …

It's really not like that in my experience. Maybe it's because I'm not a rich man, but none of the women I've been with currently or in the past were in it for money or resources. Unless by resources you mean my very average dick.

Seems extreme, no? For a foot on a seat? Maybe a fine would suffice?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
