People often complicate the issue of Street fight / self defense. The first rule of a street fight is you are never in a fair fight. His friends might be around the corner and he may have a knife. Imho if a confrontation escalated to a fight, boxing is the only one you can truly use. Give him a quick 5 punch combo while not getting hit, and then get the fuck out of there. If you bjj of wrestling his friends kick you and you are fucked. Also clinch might be dangerous if he has a knife. Kickboxing…
