I think, the political measures we are seeing now are aimed for after the collapse already. To address that possibility i would recommend purchasing a few gold/silver coins and to build a little stock of durable food supplies at home. Wich was perfectly normal until a few years ago. Today, almost nobody has a stock of food supply at home any more. Supermarkets will be emptied out pretty quickly.
